Solid Gold Classic Rock Music
As a former Disc Jockey and FM Radio Station Manager, I played Classic Rock & Roll Music for many years starting in the 1960's and continuing through the 1980's. In the summer of 1987, I launched a professional TV & Video Production career. I plan to upload and feature many Great Music Videos & Channels found right here on UA-cam!
These are all Solid Gold Oldies from the 60's and 70's! These great videos are just a small sample, and are only a fraction of the thousands of great songs I played on the radio throughout my career. I've picked out and selected some of the best videos available, all in amazing stereo quality sound! Enjoy!

Listened to this song a lot while at DaNang AB, South Vietnam. A true classic that will never go old.
Can't fool me, that was Paul McCartney singing the lead.
It was 1982 in high school. I fell for a girl named Renee hard; and likewise her with me. She would write me amazing love notes. Then on Valentine’s Day I gave her candy and she was about to cry, “I can’t go out with you anymore, my dad got transferred to Florida”. We lost contact after that and think of her every time I hear this song. I jokingly call her “move away Renee”. God bless and keep you Renee - wherever you are… I wish you nothing but happiness.
Damn that had to suck
Terrific Video captures magic times
The left bank of the Seine River in Paris is where the artists and writers hung out. I wonder if that is where the group got it's name.
It’s truly amazing how a single song can have such a effect on so many of us that grew up in the 60’s. As I’m 74 yr old now and I cherish all my old songs yet ,”Walk Away Renee “ means more to me. Bob
A true timeless classic !!!! I have felt that way since my high school graduation in 1966!! 😊😊😊
Me to, a lot of memories. Can’t stop crying. 😢😢😢
There's no real Renee, the story was made up. Still the best song ever though!
Wasnt Renee supposed to be a platinum blonde?
Michael Brown was 16 when this was first recorded Steve was all of 17. 2:35
"You're not to blame. . . ." What a heartbreaker of a line.
Luv....memories.....
A song written by a 17 year old and sung by an 18 year old❤
Younger than that when it was first written and recorded.
I was just a kid ,those were innocent times, sure brings back good memories.
Iconic song!!
Wonderful song and excellent video.
In 1974 I was expecting my first child and had a few names on the list if it was a girl. This song was playing on the radio and instantly I said to my husband that's the name I would love and he agreed. We had a girl and we named her Renee and she is 48 and a wonderful daughter.
A beautiful name she will surely NEVER OUTGROW. Wishes for a long life full of precious memories. 🌹
Love this song. ❤❤❤
love at first hear! the 60s were the best music years without doubt. talent has become history.
I named my daughter Renee, She does not visit me anymore it has been too long and the years are passing away too fast. Why she does not come to see me I will never know, she just does not want to visit and that is so sad
She will be sorry one day 😢

Wonferful song. Hard to belive Steve Martin Caro was only 15 or so when he sang it. RIP Steve, u left us one of the greatest songs of roc and roll.
Wonder what happened to him? very unique voice.
Oh Yeah, this beautiful song puts songs of today to shame. It's not even close.
Teen age love, great songs.
I first heard this song on the radio during the late sixties. I managed to record it on tape with a microphone next to the radio speaker. Sound quality not so good but that was all I could afford as a student.
that's how i did it also! a mic on a footstool- right in front of the speaker- and when the d j put on a good one- run for it, and hit record! lol low tech? i guess!
This song always haunted me as my first girlfriend was Renee ..but it's a fantastic song
Music writers of today - take notice; this is what great music is all about.
Ms Bryant was convincing in her part ... just walking away! (Good video!)
❤❤❤
Bought this 45 many years ago and think I still have it. Beautiful.......
Big thumbs up from a fellow Coast Guardsman!

This song always haunted me, memories of school kid crushes, whatever emotions of a time lost it conveys so well.
This song tells it all❤
and the worst part is, we can never return to make it right , for yesterday’s gone forever.

@@ryw5862w very very true. At 68 I still have some of those precious memories burning in my mind knowing that I can’t go back in time. I’m married to my high school sweetheart and that is a precious memory time can’t take from me. 50yrs worth of memories.

I loved this song the first time I heard it and I get a chill up my spine when I hear a great song, even from the first time. Pretty Ballerina was the same thing.
