I'm in the search for one of these right now and while my better judgement tells me to stay away from an automatic transmission, it's not mated to a Honda V6 of any kind, which means that the chances of failure are greatly reduced. I can't wait to own one of these along with my '10 Fit Sport because I miss having an incredibly simple 90's era Honda interior in my life. 15:00 I was wondering when he was gonna give it the beans, and I wasn't disappointed, even though this car is about as slow as slow gets, hehe. But that's not why I want one.

I've seen it happen. That old, boring, snail of a Toyota will outlast a brand new 2024, $80,000 piece of......German engineering by 200,000 miles. 😂😅🤣

Grew up with one of these. Mom routinely got 42 mpg out that thing and it NEVER broke down.

Bought a 99 Corolla with O2 sensor light and a valve cover gasket leaking so it’s a easy ass fix 111k miles bought it off the second owner. The suspension was in surprisingly good condition

Manual transmission. Thicker gears, more control, better in winter, lighter, less mechanical complexity and less electrical complexity. Less things likely to break. Automatic transmission, clutched automatic transmission like VW/Audi DSG and CVT are much more likely to break and extremely expensive to repair.

Have you ever replaced the Catalytic converters?

I bought my 1997 Crv LX awd a few weeks ago runs great it has 195,000 miles. The only thing i dont like is the seats very high up and very uncomfortable. They should make it a little more adjustable to go lower and if it has side bolsters that hugged you it would be great

5:28 what the heck was that??? you can always tell when someone is relatively new to driving manuals; way too concerned with rev matching, almost always redlining low gears and excessive downshifting. Unless you're racing on a track, all that rigmarole is unnecessary for regular street driving. Also, nobody can tell you're driving a stick regardless of how much you try to showcase your "skills".

Im 16 and i got a honda crv 1997 it has 180 k miles nobody was driving it so they gave it to me as a first car ngl it didn’t have any problems

I use to have a 2018 CX-5 Grand Touring. Bought it in December of 2020. Rates and prices where amazing then, got it at $19,988, 2.875%APR. $336 a month. Absolutely loved my CX-5. It unfortunately got totaled in late 2021. With how the rates are theses days. It’s not financially feasible to finance at the higher rates. The driving dynamics are the best in any car I had, the safety features where incredible with the price. I know it isn’t a comparison to a luxury vehicle like BMW, Audi or Mercedes. But with what Mazda does to these incredible SUVs, fully loaded for a bang for your buck! If anyone is considering one, test drive one. You can see for yourself how this beautiful vehicle handles. I never once got that driver Fatigue, you feel so connected to the vehicle. Mazda hit this out of the ballpark on the CX-5s.
