I have no idea whether it is so prescribed in the score, but the orchestra drowned the bass recorder in the III part for most of the time, which is unfortunate because the recorder part seems very interesting and virtuoso. Was it intentional? Of course it is difficult to balance any size orchestra with any recorder (apart from a screeching garklein or something...) but maybe the conductor should have balanced this better? Well, anyway, great stuff, more please!

Amazing. I've greatly enjoyed your music since hearing Sleep in 2019, and I've loved both of your subsequent EPs. I think this one is possibly your best so far. It's so dark and somehow claustrophobic while also being uplifting. I'm not sure how you do that. It makes me feel really excited listening to it. There are so many genres in such a short space of time. I love the bits of recorder that feature on the tracks, it makes the instrument really stand out. Well done for this, hopefully I manage to see you live at some point.

The utter arrogance of giving a "treatise" on music then being unable to correctly phrase the piece. Your articulation is akin to a carpenter with a hammer. You realize it's a recorder right??? your tongue is bashing that thing like it's a frikkin nail. Your interpretation is brutal, musically incorrect and worst of all, insulting to Bach himself. The best part is you play the ending completely out of tune.

I always played the recorder but all I had was plastic yamaha, hohner until at my age of 57, my wife, who is a real musician bought one made in Switzerland, Schaffhausen made of olive wood. What a difference! Maybe I will now even learn how to play it.

its also easy to make a sound on a piano ... some time i take the recorder of my son and its fun to play . for me its sound good and its fun to play thats it !
