What's so BIZARRE about Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?
With the recent release of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Part 6 Stone Ocean, I decided I wanted to make a video reflecting on what makes Jojo well Jojo. Whether it be the over the top drama of Phantom Blood, or the chill yet crazy days spent in Morioh during Diamond is Unbreakable, there's always been one key factor driving this series's popularity: the Fandom.

Komi Can't Communicate is Brilliant

Komi Can't Communicate is one of the hottest new anime out there and I honestly believe there is more to it than meets the eye. What appears to just be a wholesome and family friendly comedy anime actually may have a much deeper life lesson that can be taken away from it. Or not and I'm just looking too deep into Fall 2021's most popular comedy anime. Check out my socials here: camp...

The Martial Art of Anime Swordfighting

Demon Slayer Season 2 recently came out setting our hearts and interest in sword fighting ablaze just like Rengoku's. My reaction to Demon Slayer's second season was to go out and seek a Dojo to study the Japanese way of the sword known as Kendo. And in learning Kendo I learned a lot about myself, Japanese history, and the art of anime sword fighting. Check out my socials here: camp...

Also they removed the day counter in the anime, for some reason... The main plot of the manga is a guy overcoming lack of talent with sheer hard work in an impossible amount of time, and they removed the day counter lol
I hate reki thinks he’s mid bcz he learned the shows pro skate tricks fast
Its not realistic when it comes to those moves that they are presenting during the races. But the storyline, character development and drama is pretty realistic. But there are 3 unrealistic things that count as animation sins 1. Langa falling on his elbows and not ripping his skin of despire not having protectors 2. Adam begin in the Zone and explaining to Langa what is this. Is Adam like a 4 wall breaker. I mean he is delusional but WHAT!? 3. Adam begin forgiven cuz he has a trauma. He should be in jail! Or Joe should beat him up, or he should die in the end! What the hell...
I read it first then watched it, love both! Of course there’s just something special about being able to hold the manga in your hand.
This anime sucks, and skateboarding is all about on tricks not racing smh.
Downhill skateboarding/ long boarding exits in real life
I just finished watching this anime and I loved it but I never thought the ending of an anime could make me so angry and frustrated for the main character! Both of setsu’s parents are terrible especially his mother because of how horrible she treats him. Umeko has to be the biggest bitch of a parent I’ve ever seen in anime her son just placed 3rd in his first competition with friends and his first one by himself yet she purposely drops his trophy so it breaks then proceeds to call him pathetic. If anything she is the one that’s completely pathetic!! She should be ashamed of herself! A parent shouldn’t be forcing their child to do something that is making them suffer especially when they are both musicians! As an artist you should know that imitation isn’t going to let someone show their true colors and surely won’t let their talents flourish! A fire needs to be stoked and taken care of to be maintained; too little fuel and it’ll burn out too much and it’ll become dangerous and wild. You have to be constructive with your criticism never destructive at that point you will lose the person completely
Actually there is a skateboard that acts like a snowboard, it’s called a Freeboard. Basically it looks like a skateboard with extra long axles with a swivel wheel in the middle on both ends of the board. It even has the same hook foot strap, but on both ends not just one like on the show.
i had to do a double take on the date of this video, i didn't realize its been 2 years since SK8 came out. it was a really good series and brought me back to my Air Gear days, another skate type anime that i love. i love figure skating but Yuri on Ice just doesn't do it for me unfortunately. i love the punk-esque side of skating. i really hope we get more skateboarding/roller skating anime in the future, i would love to support them.
Why aren’t u posting anymore
Deluxe versions like All you need is kill.... Tomie and Uzumaki are good to begin with. You can also collect some short series like Fire punch, Black torch and hells Paradise are really good choice Also if you are looking to buy your first boxset than Tokyo Ghoul, Demon slayer and death note are the best ones to pick up
This was really helpful
Langa's board is qualified as a surf skate.
A lot of what you said is false
Another reason why the manga was more impactful is because of contrast and focus. when there was a significant scene going on, the background wouldn't be an actual setting; mostly a flat color or patterns to let us hone into the character and make it that much better. the anime doesn't do that. For example, when Saeki sensei is explaining perspective to yatora in the manga, the backgrounds fade to polka dots and simple patterns, which doesn't happen in the anime. It's true that it doesn't need to be flashy, but the fact the impactfulness of the scenes was taken away too was a bit disappointing to me.
I didn't hate the anime. But I also feel like it was just ok, even though it moved me almost to tears at some points. I sort of feel like that may only be because I am also an artist, and relate deeply to some of the topics presented. I felt like in-spite of that exciting representation, something important was missed. From it's story, it's characters, and cinematic direction. It's strange to say but I actually feel like it focused too much on the art-making part of it. If the characters had been allowed to be more fleshed out and experience other things alongside art, I feel like those characters would of begun to feel more real and given me reason to care deeper for them. I can only hope the manga fleshes the characters out much better. The writing in the anime needed some work imo. Even more urgently then the obviously flat animation.
Berserk and Tokyo Ghoul Fans: *First Time?*
I don't like reading manga all that much but I have watched blue period and liked it so much to the point of rewatching over 5 times it's a great show for people starting to get into anime. It's not to complicated and the storyline is easy to fallow. You might even end up getting inspiration from certain aspects of the show. (I had to get a water cooler pallet and paper after watching it) all in all it's a good show in my opinion. If you think the manga is better GREAT! I'm happy you enjoy it and I am sorry if the anime wasn't as interesting/good. I just personally think it's a good show. 😊
Exactly for me the manga can't bring the true emotions out of the characters like the anime does I have always enjoyed the anime more than the manga even if the manga was better only some cases are the exception like berserk n Tokyo Ghoul
i am starting this anime today judging by the comments of honest opnions it seems to be pretty good i guess i will find out:)
I am a huge fan of Sk8, i call Miya my hero, since he inspired me to pick up a skateboard
Lost interest when I heard my hero
Ima start reading the manga where the show ends soon
I think the anime is better for all da reason u said it was worse. Yeah pacing is a problem but it relays da shock factors better, and not everyone goes to anime for da same thing
Instead of buying the first Blue period I bought black clover 🙁
Is there romance?
I already watched the anime but this convinced me to read the manga
First I started watching anime but it was nothing much for me so I switched to manga and it was definitely much more better... I've read manga three times already and never finished anime... Ig it tells a bit about its quality- But its understandable if some prefer anime
This anime is what got me into skating. I don't have a board yet but I really want one. My mom is excited for me to learn how to skate too!
I'm actually going to start Kendo because I love Demon Slayer Edit: I started doing Kenjutsu and is really cool
How’s it going
@@Kirkizus good, in march I have a competition
for me death note is my favourite shounen. so is death note mid? there is no one hero or antagonist, its dependent of the viewers perception. the main character doesn't follow a cyclical structure or go through any literal trials and it ends with the main character's downfall. if u see this tell me what you think
How do I know what to buy, I don’t know how volumes chapter or any of that stuff works cause I wanna get into bleach tybw but it looks like I would have to spend over 500 dollars for just the tybw arc. I don’t know if I’m supposed to buy all volumes or what could you make a video or explain it to me because I’m really lost in this manga stuff
manga purists fetishize the more personal less curated experience of flipping pages and it's weird, stop comparing the two experiences go to your room and jack off over the same panel for the 1000th time, us anime-only viewers care alot about sound design, music, and animation, us anime-only viewers look for those truly elevated experiences, that entire studios and directors pour their souls into crafting, I get it if you prefer your page-flipping you do you but stop saying the manga is better.
The feel of the manga ain't there. There's like an ethereal yet serene atmosphere around it. It feels TOO clean. Especially the opening, my god, the visuals of the opening really turned me off, its too upbeat and jazzy and the visuals of the OP made it look like its gonna be another mangaka anime with panels and circle tones. Really dropped it on the mother scene because Yatora looked like a stiff robot despite his voice breaking unlike the manga where you can see his face contort trying to hold back tears. The pacing issues aside, the overall approach and direction to the anime really didn't do well with the atmosphere of it. The anime tried to make the visuals bombastic, too bright and saturated for a story about a guy slowly trying to find his way in art in a very calming and sentimental way.
I’ve watched it in a day and found myself here. I honestly can’t believe I’ve loved an anime about painting so much but then I realise it’s not about painting. That’s just the subject HE is aiming towards. The theme of the show is so relatable and inspiring for anything not just painting. I’m definitely going to check out the manga.
Where can I watch?
@@ingridoliveira6149 Netflix
I can see your point here but compared to many other animes I’ve watched this adaptation works well and is still super inspiring. I started with the anime and felt the same way about the anime as you felt about the manga. I often paused during the anime and it really changed my perspective. I would definitely watch the anime then if it peaks your interest to continue into the manga
This anime is amazing 🥰😍😍😍😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰🥰😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO F OFF 🤬🤬!!!!!!!!!!
You should watch the show. It’s short enough that it won’t take to long to do so, and I think you’ll get even more out of the manga if you read it afterwards.
Short, simple and and easy to understand. 👍
Wow I’m half way through the video and I already love it. Loving the energy, music, editing is smooth and you’re tips are actually really helpful and genuine. I had my doubts clicking this video lol
gonna have to disagree
My dress up darling is what blue period should've looked like.......
I have buy the Manga but must say is not so rly bad like Tokyou Ghoul with the Adoption. I watch first the Anime and have say that was one of my Anime of the Season. Hope is Season 2 woth more Money 😊 but he i buy the manga and read it
I got alot of the same feelings u said u got from the show I loved it 💯
Pretty good video , thanks, as an anime watcher (not yet into manga) I thoroughly enjoyed this show so much and I couldn't grasp why so many ppl hated the anime adaptation, I lowkey agree with your reasoning, cuz ppl didn't rly give reasons on why it was a bad adaptation. Will prob be on my first to watch when I start reading manga along with berserk vagabond blame and Tokyo ghoul
I read the first chapter and I felt kind of understood. That emptiness he feels because he still hasn't found anything that completes him, the fact that he does everything mechanically and because it must be done or is the right thing to be done... It just speaks to me... I've felt that way many times and I've never felt understood by anyone. I have never seen my feelings been so wonderfully and correctly explained by anything and anyone before.
Fucking amazing video! Perfectly described why Jojos is as big as it is
Jesus died so that you could go to Heaven. He loves you . He would really like a relationship with you and for you to live for him. I recommend that you read the Bible♥️✝️Jesus died for you. He loves you . He wants a relationship with you and for you to live for him. I recommend that you read the Bible
Haven't read the manga already watched the anime didn't know there was a manga, but honestly I like anime more since it's moving and more scenes get into it and you can see it in live motion but this is just my opinion If you like mangas in general or liked this manga I have no problem I just don't generally prefer mangas if there IS an anime version 😅 butt it's ok if you prefer manga over anime, it's your choice so don't let anybody tell you otherwise ^^
I really liked the anime, i’m going to ask my dad for the manga for my birthday though. judging by the comments I know it’s going to be better
I never got to read it but it made me pick up painting and helped me have a better view of even my own art i what it reflects
😍😍😍👍👍👍
The same story Manga vs Anime personally I think visual medium is a higher art form. Let's give a example The silent voice The manga is good but when you see the anime That's one of the greatest visual art form I ever seen.
