As an Aussie I noticed the English like to sing in unison a lot, especially when they've been drinking. That doesn't happen much at all here and for no real reason. English love their football (soccer) we are mostly indifferent to it. English like to troll each other a lot more, here we make it clear straight after that we were just kidding around, the English leave it mysterious and it can do your head in. English dudes have wwwwaaay more game and charisma than us Aussie dudes therefore you guys get to take all our women. All in all I do like the English as an elder sibling kind of way.

Ive been living in Sydney for 15 years, moved from Ireland. Worst part about Sydney is meeting people/making friends. Its fine if you're backpacking or staying in hostels, youll meet other internationals in the same boat, problem is most if not all of these people leave. So youre if you want to stay here youre left with making friends with Sydneysiders which is near impossible, theyre way too insular and quite franky xenophobic. Im going to move to Melbourne soon, the people there are better. Also there is zero nightlife in Sydney for anyone older than 25.

The reason Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne are no longer friendly is because they are full of Asians and its hard to spot the Aussie. Its rare for the Asians to make friends.

Been here six years & have yet to make a friend. I joined a church & still find the aussies stay in their groups, excluding outsiders. Want to leave but my Aussies husband & I can’t find any spare either the cost of living.

I’m 23 and I got a complete half sleeve on my left forearm and for the first few months I liked it but ultimately it’s causing me anxiety and making me look at old photos where I had no tattoos and getting me to feel massive regret. It’s a very good tattoo as many people have said to me, it’s a grey wash lightly shaded style tattoo so it will be easier to remove, but I’m seeking professional help from a psychologist to help me make my thoughts clear and allow me to make the right decision about removing it in 2025 and how much I have to consider before doing that, or maybe I can see the possibility that I may love it and keep it for at least a good portion of my 20s and allow it to fade and remove it later on. I ultimately made a horrible mistake but I don’t see this as a negative I see it as a way to grow as a person and maturely take responsibility for my actions and carefully consider my next move with time and patience and thinking it through

Hi Sam I'm going through laser tat removal at the moment. It's getting a bit frustrating as not seeing results much. On session number 5 now. May I ask what number do they set your laser at. Trying to figure out if I can get my mate who is an officer to certify it with his badge number and that or if I need to go to like a specific person in an embassy or something?
