Where there's a will, there's a way. The new 60!
Highly doubt it's a catalytic converter issue. He probably read a code for a sensor being out of range. The likely culprit would be an oxygen sensor before or after the cat being out of operating range due to carbon build up or possibly worn. A minor exhaust leak will also trigger an exhaust code. Electronic throttle bodies get gummed up quickly when air filters are not changed regularly while driven in dusty conditions. Also check for a clogged PCV ( Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve( cheap and easy repair).
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I am grateful to learn more about engine issues. You are right! When I got back to Florida, I took it to a mechanic who showed me that some of the spark plugs were misfiring (I love that this mechanic lets me get under the hood with him.), and the throttle body was filthy. That fixed the issue, but recently, the check engine light came back on, and this mechanic said he was the left catalytic converter, but I could drive it without issue for a while. I am researching getting a new truck. I appreciate your comment!

Realizing that worrying, control, and the need to always be comfortable are part of our DNA explained a lot to me, like why it is so hard to change and push one's comfort zone. Celebrating your efforts to do so is essential, even if you aren't successful at first. We are going against our genes, but it is always worth it!

I googled clothing optional hipcamp in Missouri. I stayed at another one in New Mexico and found it the same way. I was thinking about making a PDF list of clothing-optional hipcamps around the country for my viewers. You weren't the first person to ask that.

I did do a nude beach alone several years ago at La Jolla cliffs and it felt strange but liberating at the same time. I felt like the entire beach was starring at me. It was for about an hour but being naked longer on a camping trip will be ground breaking for me, lol.
