*Characters relevant to South Thedas. Hero of Fereldan means nothing in Tevinter, Kirkwall Champion even less so. I don't get it. The game is set in a different place we have never been (Northern Thedas), not revolving around south Thedas characters makes sense?

What, no waaaaay. Just by looking at YT videos and comments Alistair is 2nd most popular romance, next to Morrigan.

He's adorable and loyal and sweet! He makes me laugh and smile. Those are the qualities I like in a man :D

@@theswisswereright on my first playthrough, my warden dated alistair, but after a while, suddenly wyne shows up and asked my warden (rogue city elf) if she is serious about alistair or just playing, because wyne is concerned that if my character is just playing around, alistair would be too innocent to understand that kind of relationship (did she say that because the warden was a rogue?)... after that i have my warden ended her relationship with alistair and dated zefran

@@jackobwpierdemoller4698 for Fiona, and Morrigan in some cases, there is always one untainted (ah, literally, no shade lmao) parent. For Alistair, both of them are pretty much sterile so the chances are infinitely close to zero, sadly. 🤷

So happy to see new people coming to origins. It will forever be my favourite dragon age (and bow thanks to BG3) my second favourite game ever. It has ruined all other dragon age games for me 😅 finally finished 2 10 years later and making my way through inquisition and all I can think about is my Warden, and how worried Alistair apparently is and being sad about it. If you're on pc there is a mod called rune of banter, if you want to get through the ones with companions you don't travel with as often.

​@@CakeandCosplay omg thank you, for the comment and the mod recommendation! It's been so fun finally getting to play Origins and I see why it's so beloved! I'm so attached to my Warden bc I really feel like I get to play her my way rather than saying yes 3 different ways. Even with different origins, the character feels so different and it's easier to imagine replaying and having those playthroughs feel unique!!!I've been wanting to play the first two DA games for a long time bc i played Inquisition completely blind from DA a few years back, and then got into the lore and the series in general. The last few months I guess, I got the brainworms of dragon age and started up inquisition, and was able to buy the first two while they were on big sale! I'm playing through inquisition again, but this time I have the one w/ the dlc! And it's made it better replaying dai, with more knowledge or experience of the other games! But even though I've had less time with origins, I'm so connected with it 🥺 I also really want to play bg3 but I only have a laptop that's not awful but I don't know how likely it'll play the game well 😅 but from what I've heard, I think I'd really enjoy the game! And I can't wait to see when I can play and how I'll end up playing it!

If these two don't get mentioned in Veilguard then I'm pretending they found the cure and they're living happily again bc!!!! I'm devasted! @@kermiethefroggy17 that is how I'm getting through inquisition 😅 of course I'm sending letters to my husband, what do you mean game >:( It occurs to me if it wasn't for awakening I probably wouldn't be so miffed. But they added all these story relevances that tie in to inquisition and then just leave you hanging. But bring in characters we could have done without. Especially frustrating if you married king Alistair, Fereldan and Orlais nearly at war again, unrest etc. And if you were playing a good warden you bet your ass they'd be trying to sort things out as well as figure cures out. And smacking the orlesian wardens upside the head for their stupidity

@@CakeandCosplay exactly!!! I really wish king Alistair could've visited for a little bit!!! We had a whole bunch of orlesian nobility and politics, but couldn't do a lil for fereldan 😣?? Because I want to talk to him!!! But keeping him as a warden makes the fade choice way more heartbreaking!! But why does that mean I can only see him ONCE at redcliffe 😫

@@greyngreyer5 we don't talk about veilguard as a legitimate part of the dragon age series we're doing what black butler fans and showrunners did to season 2 maybe bioware would also hop on the train and make a _real_ dragon age 4 later, because that's NOT how you end one of the best franchises of the first half of 21st century.

Morrigan’s return in DA: I was amazing, specially because my Warden Amell romanced her and made the ritual, so I could clearly imagine those years of happiness of them three living together being the reason she evolving into this amazing mom. She offering herself to take Kieran’s place when she thought Flemeth was going to take the boy’s body literally made me proud of her maturing.

@@badlie4858 Definitely holding out hope for a serious sequel. Veilguard ending kind of showed some quality, probably what the old writers who were laid off came up with..

They're two people who don't really like each other, but they had a kid together to save the world.

YES... morrigan left in the trespasser ruined my plans.... back on my first playthrough i decided for kieran to be born exactly so that i can say something like this: "happy birthday kieran, you are 10 years old now, auntie has a birthday gift for you.... Yes its a sword and thats not all, antie will teach how to fight and strategize and more... by 13 years old you would be leading a squad against darkspawn. and by 18, i will amass enough army to do a coup and you will lead them with the power of old gods... but we will not stop with just ferelden, we will conquer all of Thedas... as auntie and niece"
