That was a pain in the arse with the reconstruction of that bridge, I have since left Ohio, rather glad I did. I'm back home in Michigan, Defiance would be great if one was retired, but as far as work goes, there is no good jobs close by without a 40 minimum drive...just not used to that, I'm a Detroiter..however when I retire I plan on moving there, purchasing property and building a small home there.

omg! we used to play on that bridge in the mid 60's. I was a little kid living in Waterville. and no, we were not allowed to go there! but we did anyway. thanks so much for the beautiful pictures. thanks for the history as well. i never knew why the bridge was there or what it had been used for.

I HAVE SINCE MOVED ON AND NOW LIVING IN GREENSBORO NC AND AM ABOUT 200 MILES FROM THE NORTH CAROLINA COAST AND ABOUT 174 MILES FROM NORTH MYRTLE BEACH AND EXPLORE THOSE COASTLINES BUT TYBEE WILL ALWAYS BE SPECIAL EVEN THOUGH I AM FAR AWAY NOW.

Tybee has some cool places but the water is nasty and grey, the beach is filthy. I live here.

I would stay at this hotel. A lot of same shots as other video and they are great. I like Tybee Island.
