If you're not getting winded and sweaty your probly not training. Along with practicing the fundamentals, drills like this should be a part of your training. Cold Weather Truck Bag
Переглядів 1,2 тис.9 років тому
Cold weather EDC considerations and a mini review of the Maxpedition Kodiak Gearslinger brings with it some unique EDC considerations. Extra coats, hats, and gloves may not be particularly heavy but those items are bulky. This is my take on a cold weather EDC system. As with my previous EDC video, this bag primarily stays in whatever vehicle I will be using.
Law Enforcement Active Shooter Response Bag
Переглядів 8 тис.9 років тому
My active shooter response load out. This load out is meant to be used by me while I am on duty and in my capacity as a uniformed officer, the contents of the bag are not necessarily appropriate for a plain clothes officer, off duty officer, or responsible civilian. As I note in the video, the primary purpose of the bag is to support my patrol rifle and augment my regular duty gear, not replace...
Champion Operator Update
Переглядів 7 тис.9 років тому
Update video for my Springfield Armory Champion Operator. I conducted some accuracy testing as well as traditional firearms training. I found that the pistol is at least as accurate as I am, I suspect there are few people who can outshoot the gun. I did not experience any malfunctions during this time, and I estimate that I fired between 200-250 rounds. I also used the pistol in a CCW role and ...
Law Enforcement Duty Belt Setup & EDC
Переглядів 231 тис.9 років тому
There are a lot of ways to set up a duty belt, and this is how I skin that particular cat. I am a patrol officer, I work primarily out of my patrol car, and I work in a mostly urban environment. I work a rotating shift, meaning that my time is split between working during the day and at night. In this day and age I prefer plastics for my pouches, I have found that they hold up better with use, ...

DIY Camouflage Paint Job
Переглядів 9049 років тому
These are step by step instructions that I use to camouflage my guns and gear. The spray paint that I use can be obtained at most big box stores. Not show is the final step, once the paint has completely dried, I will usually give it a day or two, I use a paper towel to dust off any residual paint.
Home Defense Bag
Переглядів 3,5 тис.9 років тому
My home defense load out and some home defense considerations. I touch on it in the video, but my primary consideration with a messenger style bag vs. a chest rig or plate carrier in a home defense application is speed into action. In my opinion the ability to get into action rapidly trumps the benefits of a chest rig, and even the protection benefits of a plate carrier (presuming you have ball...
Dry Fire; Train With a Purpose
Переглядів 1629 років тому
Some considerations for establishing and actually carrying out a dry fire training program. As a note, when dry firing limit yourself to 5-10 minute sessions, any longer and your technique will begin to degrade, which could be counter productive.
Range Bag
Переглядів 1649 років тому
This is the bag and some of the stuff that I use when I go to the range or to training. Some of the notable things that I neglected to mention were eye protection, both tinted and clear, a pad of paper, duct tape, and a couple of water bottles. If I'm going to the range I typically also have a way to secure targets like a stapler or clips. Also consider a way to collect brass and trash.
Springfield Armory Champion Operator
Переглядів 7 тис.9 років тому
My initial review and first impression of the Springfield Armory Champion Operator. In short I very much like this gun and couldn't ask for too much more in a 1911. I will post an update after I get some more rounds through it and perhaps carry it a bit. This is my first product review and would appreciate any constructive feed back.
You know / I don’t know counter 900 million
Nice basket weave set up and video. I got my basket weave Sam Brown Belt 94 buckles and pouches back in 1992 when I was in police science and then the academy. It lasted 16 years I just went to a Bianchi basket weave duty belt with the plastic buckle. I replaced all my pouches after 20 years. I got the same crap on my duty belt like you. My taser, spare chain cuffs, M-4 Carbine soft mag holders on my vest. I have right side, key holder, oc spray, weapon holster, 6360 on a QLS system. My hand cuffs and glove pouch. Left side is my mag pouch, Gurber tool pouch, flashlight, ASP BATON and radio. A lot of crap?!! Lol. To help you out take of your TQ and put it in your vest or pance pocket. Mine is in my vest. We use 2X tasers.
Good setup
Can you convert The holster from left to right and does it come in white
Its been a few years since you posted this but I would suggest switching the F301 zebra pen for their all steel F701 or the tactical x701. Have run both as edc pens, use them daily as a security officer and find them just as good as the 301's without the flaw of the plastic grip breaking
No oc spray? No baton? I hope the taser doesn't fall you because then you have no other non lethal options.
Where did u get the holster from
Yo

Try a 6 O'clock hold and Mecgar 8 round mags with Hornady 220 Critical Defense. I cary this setup in my Champion and it shoots well to center mass
love this video
How do you take a leak without your pants falling down?
I’m a sergeant in West Melbourne Florida our department uses the Taser x26p and we have the 25 foot cartridge I always have my Taser with the light and laser combination ps the green blast doors is a 25 foot cartridge
How many rounds now have you fired so far? Any malfunction ?
Yo this gun is awesome, I’ve owned it for a couple years and shoot it every time I go to the range. If it wasn’t for the heat out here I’d carry it everyday but it prints a little too much. Definitely my 1st choice during sweater weather The only hiccups I’ve had were due to a Chip McCormick Power Mag that got stuck in the well and the slide release not catching the slide after the last round. I run Wilson’s and factory mags only now and it has been fine. The thing just runs tho, no matter the ammo (she seems to love Hornady critical defense) Also I went ahead and replaced the cheap plastic guide rod for an EGW flat spring/rod and it has ran flawlessly. If your looking to upgrade the sights go with kensight rear blacked out and front green tritium, she shoots super flat with those and they fit like a glove (no fitting required) Definitely my favorite gun and I have variety, including single/double actions striker fired and the MC operator you have as well (which doesn’t always like the hollow points) I think the ramped bull barrel on the 4 inch helps a ton with feeding those hollow rounds and I hardly ever clean the damn thing.
Just got the range officer elite Champion and love it great gun.. I'm hoping they make an elite operator Champion soon
I love it I’m a first responder so it’s a good start
Very interesting
I know this is n old video but as a dad I totally get the lollipop!!!! A must have
I am desperately seeking a Champion Operator. I bought a Ruger SR1911 Commander in November, but I really want to have the ability to slide a light on and off when the need arises. I bought a TLR 1911 laser light for rail-less 1911s, but you have to Allen wrench it on and off with three screws. I’m dying for a commander sized 1911 with a rail!
Good luck finding one, I just got a Range officer Champion and was wanting the operator myself... I'm still pissed I didn't get one before all this chaos!!
Dude! It's a 1400 gun and you let that shit slam home on an empty chamber. I'm not telling you how to live your life, but still its terrible for any Arm, especially 11's
I’m in high school. Anyone have any tips on becoming a police officer? I am joining the explorers program in the next couple weeks.

Where did you get this bag from?
Where do you buy the wound netting from?
How can you keep it from falling down,
Correction champion is not a commander, commander is 4.25, champion is 4”.
I love this video. It was a good layout of first aid. Did you have anything to take vitals with?
Very well made video. One of the best duty belt descriptions I've seen on here and your attached description answered the few questions I had. Agree with your logic on the layout. Only difference is I've replaced taser with OC since retired from LE and only do armed private now.
Where did you by all the stuff
Where did you get the hinge handcuffs case from I like the open case
good video. I like your mesopotamia picture in the background. I'm Assyrian.
Thank you for your Service 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Aw snap, someone else rocking the grip tape. Thanks for the vid, not many closeups on this around. Looks fantastic.
what part of Wyoming
No baton ??
Nicely done but when I was in the Army as an MP I always kept my clips on my right side since I shot with my right hand and it is easier for me to change the clip with my left hand! From one Veteran to another Veteran thanks for your Service and also PROMISE me one thing and that is get back home to your Family as the end of your Shift!
Or is it issued by the department
Do I have to buy the majority gear for my duty belt
Do you still have this gun and have you had a good experience with it ! K
Holy shit! That’s crazy. Our guys in the uk literally just have a baton, spray and handcuffs on their belt. Except for specially armed units
lewmar321 that is crazy. What happens if a crazy armed guman trys to kill people.
El Pingu we have specially armed units that can be deployed. There are tonnes in London but if it were to happen in a rural area then it would take ages for them to arrive. You can’t buy guns here though so gun crime is super rare
lewmar321 im sure if a criminal wanted to buy one he could. Criminals dont follow laws. And that would be a shame if that happened in a rural area like u said. They would be helpless
El Pingu yeah true, we had a School shooting in Scotland years ago and since then hand guns have been completely banned. You can get a hunting rifle or shotgun for hunting purposes but you need to get a licence and it’s extreme vetting to get one.
@@lewmar321sco It's the UK not America.
Yucky people haha
Is your grip tape on the glock for 1 hand rack?
do you have any retention issues with the flashlight or mag holster?
fuck the pigs🐷
You only need 3 magazine imo. 2 Mags for offense, and use the last 1 for cover fire while moving towards your trunk. But that’s just what my grandpa taught me from his days
Do you have OC spray?
Where is your pepperspray??
Where is your batton
How often do you use your multi-tool?
