Don't always have to replace the fan. If there's a build up of ice on the fan it will make this noise too. I shut my unit and defrosted and dried everything--removing only the panel for access--with a hair dryer. Put panel back on and boom. Quiet.

Thanks for the video. I wonder how do you open up the water spraying part to clean the inside. My laundry has a lot of gray flakes coming our from these water holes. You do anything with the A/C. I have all new parts on my 2000 S10, 4.3L V6, only thing not new is the Condensor and it still won't hold a charge. About to give up, any ideas?!!

Does the noise affect the performance of the fridge over time, as in is this going to cause the fridge to break sooner, or is it just an annoying noise issue? Just had appliance guy come out and replace motor and it's still making noise! Thanks

You have an oak tree in the front so squirrels will stay in that area to collect the acorns in the fall, dig holes to hide some and find the ones they hid last year. They are annoying and I have the same problem. I hope your solution works.

Great video! Hi Mike I had a question. I have a 95 Sonoma 4.3 sls. Man I've been having a hard time pinpointing a misfire p0305. Sucks I've changed EGR valve , spark plugs,wires, distributor cap and rotor. Don't know man It turns on but shakes with low power.

I could live with the noisy fan, but I couldn't live with the backwards doors. 🙃

How about switching the doors to open from the right side while you are there? Takes 5 minutes. How long have they been living with the doors on the wrong side for that fridge location?

The fan is slow because a sensor is telling it that cold air is rushing thru and it doesn't need full airflow throughput, a fuel saving invention. First thing, I would have disconnected the neg. battery terminal just to make sure the error code cleared after installing the new sensor, only because my stupid Craftsman scanner, which wasn't cheap, doesn't have an erase code function.

They are not stupid cause what they are doing is in their system naturally. In order for you to understand you must understand how grass seed spreads via their root system underground. I replaced the exact piece but the orange and black cables are now opposite with the part I bought. I am referring to the sensor that connects to the other sensor. My sensor has 3 cables only. Thank you. Is that a big deal?

I bought a used Magic Chef fridge and made this horrible and annoying noise, I ordered the motor from amazon for like $17. Followed this video and replaced it under 10 minutes. I did drop a screw somewhere though, hopefully turns out 😂 😂
