Hi! It was forged dome pistons. 0.30 over, 284H cam. Edelbrock rpm air gap intake, ported to max 351w heads with small chambers(literally crack in exhaust ports). About 11:1 comp with the dome pistons. 650 holley dp. Msd 6al box. Thats pretty much it. In the pinto with 3200stall, 4.11 gears it was pretty fast for what it was.

Valerii Panenko thank you. I dont have the car anymore, but the engine is still alive! Bigger cam alt alot of headwork done to it. I have more videos of the engine. Its a boost gauge that is installed where the clock was.

Valerii Panenko i have 2 opel omega. One 87 3000 with 24v engine. And one 92 with engine from evo 500. Parts is relatively east to access here. Most parts i buy from germany. I live in norway.

Система you can boost the stock engine as is. And keep boost at 0.6bar with some injectors from a saab turbo. But you will always want more power. So i suggest i stand alone ecu like dta, megasquirt or something similar. Manifold has to be made from scratch. Fwd manifold does not fit on a rwd car. A good fuel pressure regulator is a must. And use some aftermarket rockerarms and change to harder springs and retainers. Stock one cant hold anything for long. And a good headgasket. Like mls or from c20let.

Anthony Tatum baught parts and build my own. This car is now turboed. So i used shorty’s and flipped them to go to the front

@@306pinto o ok I bet that thing is stupid fast I may turbo mine one day but going to get it going first then I may turbo it. I've been interested in doing a turbo setup so when I do I may get up with you for some tips but I appreciate your help thanks

Pineaple Dracula hi! You can run on the stock ecu with 0.7 bars of boost. That will give around 170hp depending on the condition of your engine. I used je piston and i beam rods. Arp bolt on everything. With the garrett turbo and a ms2 v3 ecu it made 344 to the crank at 1.4 bars of boost. Used a custom grind cam and stiffer valve springs. Ported head and intake. With a bigger turbo and injectors it would have made more.

306pinto wooah thats a lot of work i can buy parts but i can't custom build or make them okay so what turbo i can use for engine?

Pineaple Dracula just get a stand alone ecu and change piston and rod bolts. Should hold up some power. Use c20let parts if u can get them. For turbo i would use a gt25 or gt28 size turbo. Maybe one from a sr20 or rb25?

It will be fine. I used this cam with a stock 302 short block at first. No issue

I used kb pistons along with 289 small chamber heads. It was 11.5 with that combo. Now i have build a 331stroker with trickflow 190heads. Big custom cam and 11:1 comp.

Did that cam make good power? I've got one that I put in a 347 stroker and it will be a couple weeks before I get it going so I was curious,

It had a 3500 stall converter at that moment. Later changed it to 4200 stall.
