What if they miss the mark a little bit on their Q4 forecast... answer is it doesn't matter. Over the long term, consumers in China are going to realize that the resale value on a NIO vehicle will be the strongest of any EV because of Battery health. If you were buying a used EV... which would you choose? A Tesla with an old battery or a NIO with a new battery? Buying a NIO with BAS offers a better ROI for the consumer. This... on top of all the other benefits the car offers. Stand firm and believe in the model.

If Onvo wait time has been shorten to 8- 10 weeks. Also as stated by CEO deliveries are expected for December to be 10K and January max. 15K, so unfortunately Onvo confirmed orders are mostly only 30K. What do you think?

I’m still suprised this crap sells at all! NIO fails and fails and fails again yet people holding what they think are NIO shares (actually arnt unless you bought them in the Chinese stock market) are the first to defend them even though NIO and Li are laughing at you.

For the people who compare Xpeng with Nio: Do not compare Nio's deliveries with Xpeng deliveries. Xpeng has sold 10k units of Mona, which only costs $17k. That means the total revenue for the Mona car is 10k x $17k = $170,000,000 only. Nio only needs to sell 4k cars in order to cash in that amount of revenue. If we compare Nio with the P7+ the Nio car costs on average $16k more. If we compare Onvo with the Mona the Onvo car costs on average $5k more. The total revenue for Xpeng with 30k deliveries is even lower than 20k deliveries for Nio.

The problem is you're going in with a pumper's mindset go in with a bears mindset and you'll model better numbers. It's not rocket science.

Before the launch of Onvo, NIO sold around 20,000 cars. However, after Onvo was released, the combined sales of NIO and Onvo still totaled only 20,000 cars, meaning that NIO's brand sales decreased by the amount sold by Onvo.

NIO has been doing 20,000 since May and people are complaining.... LOL absurd..... they will do 30,000 on average next year. Be happy people. I suspect the stock price will be up next week NOT down....

It's fine. NIO is fine. They will do about 30K per month next year for most of the year (at least that is what I'm hoping). So they will do 360k - 400k next year and it will be fine.

Year-on-year increase of 28.9%, a total of 190,832 vehicles have been delivered in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 34.4%. However, 30k+ Deliveries for the month of December is highly unlikely and it's set by Nio themselves, it's not happening.

In my opinion deliveries in December will be around 26000-28000. Onvo will be around 8000 of the total amount and Nio will be around 18 000-20 000. Ramp up for Onvo will have a gradual increase by 2000-3000 cars per month in the next 3 months and at a certain point in March or April 2025 will speed up exponentially. Cannibalization of sales will need to be minimized. The event on 21st December is a good opportunity to distinguish between target groups for the 3 brands. Pricing strategy is also essential. Price points are overlapping a bit, there needs to be a fine line in price ranges between the brands. Still, 205 000-210 000 deliveries for 2024 is a success and 2025 will be interesting... 🎉 I don't expect doubling of the figures, but still cumulative 1 million cars on the road can be achieved at the same time next year. 😊 Profitability should be reached in Q3 or Q4 of 2025.

What a joke for Firefly, Firefly needs its own battery swap stations, 1) Nio can't make swap station standard by their own car models 2) Nio has another excuse, because they need to spend more money otherwise no one will by Firefly. it will take two years to ramp up Firefly.

Hi odd thanks for your content ive always had concerns over the time it takes to build a new brand loyalty and brand recognition i really still dont understand why nio didnt bring L60 out under nio brand now i see firefly will be sold in nio stores it does look like nio may be creating a confusing situation for customers with unknown sub branding also telsa byd etc dont need sub brands so why nio ,do we have ramp issue or building new brand slow demand issue its starting to look like the later but i hope not 😊

As you say, Nio's Q3 earnings were announced only about 10 days ago. So they must have known at the time the November's delivery numbers. As there is a 2-3 week lag between sales and deliveries, by November 20th, all sales affecting November deliveries were a done deal and Nio had the full image when it gave guidance, so nothing new. Onvo ramp-up is not linear but in steps and Nio incentives have just been increased, plus there is the UAE expansion. Let's give Nio the benefit of the doubd, there is nothing yet indicating that they will fail. If they succeed, December will be a record month with 30K deliveries!
