Honda Navi Exhaust Review With Sound Clip. New exhaust slip on setup.
New exhaust slip on for my Honda Navi. it was $100 Canadian roughly. sounds slightly deeper then my old setup but still similar and great sounding with a much cheaper price then a Yoshi or vance and hinse.

Mods for Honda Navi Top Speed HOW I HIT 110kmh ON A HONDA NAVI ( video proof of 100kmh/60mph)
how much did you have to bend the pipe for it to fit? and how much louder is it? i want to change the exhaust mainly because the stock one makes it too wide for my liking and I just wish it stuck closer to the body of the bike
It didn’t need much, an alternative is cut a little ring out the pipe to shorten it and then weld it together. Some pipes don’t need modifications though from what I’ve heard. Also just look on aliexpress for it all, much cheaper and tbh better then Amazon or something. For example I got a pipe bracket, gasket, screws and bolts the slip on fake branding like akropovic etc all for $100 Canadian shipped, then my friend got one from Amazon and he got literally the pipe, and slip on with the springs to hold it to the pipe. That’s it, and he paid like $150-$170 Canadian for still a week wait. Also to fill the empty back end I got a wider tire. I didn’t bend my exhaust tighter to the bike which i probably should but getting a fatter rear tire and a nicer rear fender helps a ton.
Does this apply to sliders as well or just rollers?
I didn’t test the difference for sliders vs rollers as I don’t have the proper roller weights to match the sliders I have. But I do run sliders with the mod and have since the Navi first released almost and I’ve had zero issues ever with it.
Great! How much was the top speed improved?
I originally did this 2 years ago, this video was filmed using a spare variator from my friends Navi. The top speed gain was maybe 2-3 mph if I had to guess but I’m unsure as it was forever ago and I’ve driven more on a variator modded like this then a stock one.
Navi Nation! Subbed
thank you!!! I've been too busy to make videos lately :( next planned one is the longer cvt belt which i have just haven't tested or filmed anything.
What’s the size of the tires? Looks really nice!
The rear one is the only one changed, it a Kendra k413 130/70R10 52J. I did it to fill the empty space after removing the oem exhaust and fender. For the front there is the Kendra k413 110/70-12
what exhaust and how u get it to do that?
Any gy6 exhaust will fit or need very very little modification to fit. It was doing flames bc the bike was running lean, don’t run it lean tho. It’ll cost you power and just all around isn’t the best for the engine. For exhaust just go on aliexpress and search gy6 exhaust. Insanely cheap there, go look at some of my recent videos to see my bikes exhaust this was my friends.
how u get it to spit flame
Answered your other comment :)
is that the basic tuning stuffs standung flames from vexed con?
this was based off his tunes yes. i did have issues when trying to drive from a stop but can't remember if i ever fixed that. join the discord linked on ms4x.net incase you haven't btw.
@@silas.anderson ill do it right now, i just flashed the DME with a tune based on his setup, but my iddle bounces at the cold start
@@GHenry-et2ix check o2 sensors, i had struggles with that too ended up saying whatever and only enabling 1 o2 sensor 😢
Wider rear tire, or taller rear tire?
wider tire for sure, idk about height tho. i only got it for more width to fill the empty look in the back after removing the oem fender and exhaust.
That cvt mod is ELITE🔥
thank you!!!!!
Do you happen to know if there's a manual with it to change out the kilometers to miles
no sadly, i did contact the manufacturer and they did give me a date when they'd hope to start selling a mph version. i don't remember when it was exactly but it was mid to late summer i believe NavX is also working on trying to figure out how to make it use MPH which he's done some eprom related things to make it work or at least possibly make it work, theyre also working on a ton of other navi related things like bigger fuel tank too.
There is a way to get the neutral light and engine light off of the display it's a set of wires that you've got plugged in
Thanks!!!! I was going to look into it but haven’t had much of a chance lately.
Glad you did so I don’t have to…. No odometer and kilometers only is a deal breaker no matter how inexpensive they are. Thanks for the video.
THERE IS AN ODOMETER!!!!! idk if i updated in these comments or not but it does. it has a odometer and a trip meter!!!!! btw join the subreddit and navi performance group im super super active in there helping literally everyone i can. i also do a lot more frequent updates there since its easier then a whole video.
I was looking for an affordable upsweep pipe for the Navi. Do you have some idea about it?
Sadly no, there used to be a guy who made them for people forever ago but your best bet is to make your own or just fork out the money for a yoshi ir other exhaust.
info?
what you'd like to know? i made these myself. start by looking at how to flash ms43 or ms42 depending on what due your car has. then look on ms4x.net and follow the pops section. also join the discord on there and theres a lot of people who can help you there. you do need catless headers or no flames and only pops
That looks awesome. Great video. I'm hoping they have an mph variation as opposed to the kph. Tour headlight looks bright. Which bulb do you have?
Thank you! Hopefully soon there’s a mph version, I talked to the Chinese seller/manufacturer and they said they’re working on it and they gave me a time roughly but I forget it rn. Only issue rn for the dash is it’s hard to see in the day, hopefully that gets fixed too. Also for the headlight I’m unsure, it was found at an Amazon return store for like $2 so I decided why not. Any led headlight that I believe is h4 should work. (Double check if it is a h4 bulb in the Navi I could be wrong)
HEY MAN!!!!we talked in the navi reddit forums. so cool to see you in my youtube reccommened.....THIS DUDE IS A CHAMP. hes a blessing to the navi community
It’s weird having so many people know who I am from being just a random teenager with a Navi 😂 but thank you sm. I try my best to help literally anyone on here, Reddit or Facebook.
Looks bad ass
Thank you :)
Subscribed from Facebook Navi group😊
Thank you sm again!!!
Update?
I like it, just dim in sunlight but at night I love it. Also tbh I don’t really watch my speed on it at all 😅
Do you have to make the ac to dc conversion first?
I don’t know, I’m assuming not but at worst that’s a $5 fix. Sorry for not knowing.
Can we ride video does the neutral light change or stay on
I sadly no longer have a GoPro, I was borrowing it from my friend but in the future I might be able too. Also haven’t rode my Navi in a bit because it keeps drying then snowing and going from +15c to -10c so I’m unsure rn on the neutral light.
Cool little upgrade , can't wait for a review latter to see if everything working properly . The led I installed is a huge benefit in night time vision and day time safety to be seen on the road . I live outside Ottawa and still have not seen a nother Navi yet . I did purchase a Honda XR150L as I find rual living the Navi did it's job well but the XR150L is just a little faster and therefore a safer driving speed in the country. That said the Navi is bar none the best the cheapest the most practical fun bike for the city , especially stop and go traffic because of the CVT . You did not mention but I presume you did the AC to DC conversion as I saw you turn the key and you had dash and a headlight .
Yes I did ac to dc, I now have a led light too which I did far after the video was uploaded. Also hopefully it works out. I never got any solid tests between oem and not and with rollers or sliders and what weights but I personally get better top speed with this then a s23 variator by a good amount. I’m also from canada in Alberta. I agree the price for the Navi is amazing especially to easily get a license. Check out my other videos btw I got a lot more too.
As an American I thank you for doing the conversion for me.
no problem lol, i have to so i can get a good audience too anyways.
Bro I need a parts list!
What parts would you be interested in? So much to list. If you want some specific I can get links too
@@silas.anderson just the performance parts I got the clutch and variatior replaced on mine but after an exhaust change idk what else other than a carb I could do to it
Question for anyone that know more than me, is there any negative effects to doing this such as damage to the motor or anything like that? Thanks
If done right no, first attempt at this I did much worse and rougher job then in the video and it still worked for thousands of miles until I got a new variator for this video. Basically just keep it even as possible and don’t make it insanely thin other then just maybe the edges of the variator so it doesn’t break when spinning. But I’m now at 7k kms on my Navi and it’s been fine and I’ve ran this mod since nearly new when the Navi first released.
@silas.anderson Thanks, bro scooter swap shop just restocked the s23 variator/ clutch kit, and I think that's my next move.
@@huntboy7038 don't get their kits, its over priced imo. their variator is worse for top speed from testing my hem one and the s23 one i have. for clutch just buy a gy6 1255-150cc clutch and clutch bell and you're good. got my clutch for $50 canadian and im still using the oem clutch bell. try this mod in the future, its not as hard as it looks and i was super worried the first time i did but even without this mod id say stay with oem or maybe go malossi variator but even then idk if its worth the extra money. i just don't recommend the s23 personally.
Thank you very much. I plan on doing this mod very soon and your video and description makes it very clear on what to do. I now can move ahead with confidence 😊
No problem, hope it goes well for you. The original variator is better for top speed then aftermarket ones I found.
Have you figured out how to switch to mph
no other people are working on it. it requires eprom editing so the physical chips on the board
How accurate is the speedo
i have no idea, seems just a accurate as the oem one though as my top speed didn't increase or decrease.
@@silas.anderson how is it during the daytime?
@@cool_breeze_actual9643little hard to see sadly. But at night and stuff I love it.
You should definitely share this to the HNPG.
I’m in that group already. I probably should tho. I’m the one who won the banner photo or whatever they called it. Same one used as my channel banner.
What is HNPG

I have heard 120/90-10 tires fit on the rear wheel. About 8% to 10% bigger than stock. That should give you a +10% top speed increase. Having a completely stock bike with your variator mod AND the bigger rear tire should get to 110km/h? Im tempted to buy one and road trip from Kelowna BC to Edmonton AB (1000km trip), if i can get the cruising speed up to at least 100km/h
go look at my walk around video ;) I think I already have that size. might do a 12" rim next but want a cdi first probably and a few other little things ill show off in a very soon video.
Personally i like the navis stock gauge, with a better bulb it makes illumination a lot better. The only bike i would ever replace the tachometer for is the Monkey, becuase that thing is so small and it has no rev indicator. Not a huge deal imo, but having something rev indicator and a bigger hud in general makes the experience a lot smoother.
That’s fair, I just thought I’d try it out and modernize the Navi a bit more yk. Also no videos done on it so wanted to be the first to bring new content to the Navi in forever.
Hey what jets are you using with the cam and upgraded carb
I can’t remember what it is. But I belive 32 pilot and 84 main, I’m higher in elevation and I still feel like it’s not dialed in but it’s the best I’ve gotten so far. Sadly might’ve messed up my cvt or carb tuning which is why I haven’t gotten a good video on my true top speed yet but hopefully this summer.
sorry if it's a stupid question, but did you cut the original exhaust off and just slip this on? or is it a different pipe? been looking at doing an exhaust swap and make my navi less scooter looking and sounding.
No this is a complete exhaust, if you look in the description I have 2 links. One is my first exhaust setup that came with pipe, bracket, and new slip on/muffler. I had to bend the pipe a little bit more to fit at one of the already existing bends but other then that it fits fine. This video I showed me getting just a new slip on/muffler but using the old pipe from my first setup. Hope this helps you. If you search gy6 exhaust on aliexpress, there’s a ton of options, you can find bundles of pipes mufflers and everything for $100 ish Canadian like I originally had and individual parts to make your own too and end up with what I’m running in this video now.
Does it remember total mileage? How's readability during day time/sun's brightness?
It won’t remember mileage as the mileage is stored mechanically in the old dash with that “roll over” type of system if that makes sense and not stored electronically as a value somewhere. And I’m the day time it does get hard to see at least the little I rolled it out on my driveway because of the snow. People might be working on solutions for it though.
Legend!
Thank you!
I understand that the previous mileage is not preserved (because the original mileage was measured by the analog tracker), but does it accurately record the km travelled after installation continuously or only per trip and then resets after turning off the bike?
I am not sure, couldn’t drive it other then a few meters since there’s still tons of snow outside where I live but it might be the trip style sadly, people are working on editing the eeprom to get mph working and a few other things so in the future it migh be possible to change possibly.
Absolute gold. Thanks!
thanks man!
Bro thank you I been looking for a video like this for a minute
no problem, sadly had so many delays on this video it took a extra 3-4 days almost
Hey something’s not right with mine, it’s not showing in km/h it just sits at 0 and it’s not showing the highbeam icon, also I don’t think the fuel gauge is accurate. Anything you could think of? I de-pinned and followed everything exact to the T

Hello for Nova Scotia buddy ✌️😎🇨🇦
hey nice to see another canadian rider. im from alberta. sadly no more riding until next year though.
Good job. That looked pretty clean to me. Better than my effort sometime ago. Might have to try it again next riding season.
ya this was my second time doing it, my first time looked awful but still worked great. sadly there's snow where i live now but it melted. might go for a final top speed run tom to hopefully get proof of my claimed 110kmh
were can i get that rear fender please
nvermind i seen the othe comment
@@pizzabaker7586 yep just amazon im in canada so finding it listed was hard but on amazon.com its way more common from when i did buy it. i did have to space out the fender though from hitting the shock on the other side as they shipped mine missing the 3rd metal arm piece so i only got 2.
