    The benefits of dietary supplements do not have substantive evidence for the claims this video makes. Creatine monohydrate and whey protein are notable exceptions, as they have been extensively studied and proven to be effective in promoting muscle growth and improving performance outcomes. Many other dietary supplements (such as the ones listed here) lack robust scientific backing and don't provide significant advantages over the general health recommendations like a well-balanced diet (which includes adequate protein intake from whole foods), adequate sleep, avoiding smoking and alcohol etc. Folks, save yourself the time from following these garbage channels, and follow experts that have reputable experience and education in this field.

      What’s up Luke. Thanks for the comment my man. Your opinion is always welcome on my channel. I agree with you on you wholesome meal approach. Your get good from nature 1st and then a lab 2nd. That is why they are called “supplements”. To your other points, fish oil, Vitamin D etc…are recommended by people with more degrees then a thermometer. I love to hear your take on that😎.

    When should you take these supplements?

    • @Joshelift
      @Joshelift Місяць тому

      The supplements, take them whenever you want. The protein is best taken within 30mins after your workout. 💪💪. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask😎

    • @Luke-te9mx
      @Luke-te9mx Місяць тому

      @@Joshelift Again false, scientific evidence shows that such a narrow "anabolic window" has been disproven, and that muscle protein synthesis can be stimulated for several hours after exercise, extending the window to four to six hours before or after a workout. The focus should be on total daily protein intake. Ensuring that you consume adequate protein throughout the day is far more important for muscle growth and recovery than the exact timing of protein consumption.

    • @Joshelift
      @Joshelift Місяць тому

      @Luke-te9mx this only works if you have had protein BEFORE your workout. 😎

    Thanks, I liked this video. I subbed as well. My brother recently shared about using Creatine. I had shared with him that I tried it once and it was bloating me up more than anything. However, I had not actually given the product enough time to get into the system. I am on Creatine now, and after the 2 week 5gram/daily loading phase; my body is doing a heck of a lot better with the lifts and I am seeing the muscle mass more. So, it does work. IF you want to look shredded, get off the creatine and in two weeks, the body will drop the water that are helping pack muscle. You won't lose strength, but you will look more shredded. Give me your opinion on Tonkat Ali complex please.

    • @Joshelift
      @Joshelift 3 місяці тому

      Hey Sam, It depends on your fitness level. For example, if you been training for a while and have built up the arm strength, then try regular (body weight) dips. If thats to easy then you can add a weight belt to keep progressing. On the flip side, if you are new to the gym or have not been training for a while, the machine dips are better. This is because the machine dips help counter your body weight and assist you when you are pushing up out of the dip. You can adjust the weight as needed for the level of assistance.. My take: there is no one size fit all in fitness. I personally like the regular dips because that is the level that “I” am specifically on and it is in line with my goals. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask them 😎😎.

    • @Joshelift
      @Joshelift 3 місяці тому

      Using the assistance pull up machine or bands if your gym does not have one, do total 105 pulls up or 3 sets of 35 reps. Dont worry, they will start to get easier the more you do them. For you specifically, since you cant do one, i would recommend the above. Do them assistant with machines-or bands. If thats to hard hard, do the same reps but with the lat pull down or machine/barbell row. The purpose is high volume that will force your muscles to grow by adapting to the stress. If you still need help, I make free 12 week digital programs at Joshelift.com specifically for beginners to intermediate athletes. I am finalizing the pull up program now and will have it posted there by tomorrow 💪💪💪 If you have anymore questions please done hesitate to ask😎😎
