Private speculators gaining control of the properties and profiting off of the back taxes? So they are opposed to private individuals coming in and improving the vacant housing to make for decent and well kept rentals, but they are not opposed to a Land Bank monopoly on real estate to siphon all of the profitability out of the vacant properties to make them uninvestable. The land bank gets to purchase these properties before they reach auction, which is nothing but another government scheme to control assets. Fuck the land bank.
