Hey Sir. Considering the weight of your battery and tool box setup, I'm guessing the overall weight is about 22 pounds. Have you experienced any bending of the rear bars due to the added weight. I was thinking maybe going over large bumps might cause bending with the weight there.

glad to see im not the only one who turns the scoot over. First time i did tires i was having a heck of a time getting the front back on when i realized, wait a minute there aint no gas or oil in this thing. So i folded the stem and flipped her over on a chair. Job was done in minutes.

I can't understand why this is not sealed directly out from the factory, it's very fast to do and very good for people who lives in country like mine where there is a lot of rain. Maybe it's not good for the motor ?

I figured that you don't need to unhook the motor wires -- which some other knuckheads videos are showing. But dude, please think about tire levers.. those gashes in the rims add up. What size are those tires? - 90/70-6? or 90/65-6? I have the same coming (Tuovt Knobby 90/70-6) -- I hope they fit, they are bigger than stock 80/65-6. I was also going to install a trunk like yours ( a gun/camera hard case) Did you install a riser bracket first to bring the case up and back --or is just sitting with a plate on the stock frame bar? Can you pick up the scooter ok with a trunk on it?

That's resorcing on steroids. How did you know which was + and which was - without testing the charger with volt/ohm meter and verifying the +/- on the hoverboard connections? Seemed pretty sketcy to me. Those batteries can really crank out a *lot* of amps. On mine I got a replacement charger on Amazon for around $13 a few years ago. 42v out at 1.7 amp output that had the charging and charged LED for verification. Without opening up the hoverboard, you really have no idea what the battery state is. When these things first came out, they immediately got a bad rap for batteries catching on fire and melting chargers getting to hot to handle 40v at 1.5 to 2.0 Amps. Cheap junk from China, but they were all the craze 6-7 years ago. Don't hardly see them anymore.. Why? Aside from injuries, they were/are notorius for becoming fire hazards, even if using the proper charger for them..

Those wires are Hall sensors for the motor . I guess Kaboo doesn't use Hall sensors ?

I found this video because I found a hover 1 out on the side of the road with a microwave which I got also. Lol. Because I can't help myself. 😄 But it didn't have a charger and I know nothing about these things and have never ridden one. So I want to try to fix it but can't tell what's wrong until I can try to charge it. The round 3 prong charging port looks very similar to some ends I've seen on some older video computer equipment. Are the the same? Also any help someone can give me will be much appreciated. I'm a electrician by the way so I understand how it works just not how to go about rigging up a charger. Thanks in advance.

I had a gotrax motor fail because the zip tie was broken and flopping around inside the motor.

on the rotor side i see you dont have a rubber seal over the bearing is that ok? mine seems damaged or not seated right and seems to squeak alot
