This was interesting to see, thank you. If your motors get water on them do they need to be replaced, or can they get cleaned and then put back together?
It's a shame they are not waterproof How do I remove my controller I can't figure out what's holding it in 🤔 ua-cam.com/video/gMsC6efSdO0/v-deo.html&feature=share8
Hi I myself have been having motor issues on my Nami Burn E 2 Max regarding rust forming / water entering into the motor. I live in Iceland and the winter time here is very wet/snowy sometimes both at the same time with very big puddles forming. I personally think the puddles are having the most affect on rust forming due to them being partly submerged in water when riding in the puddles (I ofc try to avoid them but not always possible). I have my scooter at the shop right now and I gave them detailed information of what I like them to do, firstly I like them to clean all the rust, change all bearings, spray the magnets with anti corrosion spray and finally seal the rims on the motors with silicone as you have shown in your video. This I think will be the most effective way of keeping the motors from filling with water and getting rusty along with ruining the bearings. The only concern the guys at the shop had was that if the motors are completely sealed then there is no "breathing" for the condensation which can form from the motors being heated/cooled constantly. The weather in Iceland is considered very mild in regards to temperature, no extreme heat or cold. So I am kind of "taking a chance" of sealing them completely and will see in the next coming months how they perform with regards to condensation. I personally think the condensation part is such a small risk factor compared to not sealing them and having water directly entering the motors from rainy days. What are your thoughts on this?
Bro how to protect the berings from water ? Aren't they usually sealled up ? Or no, im going put silicone around the rim of the motor mine I just bought it but the bearings is the question thank you
I had this happen to my Wolf King and it took me around 3 months of back and forth to get my scooter fixed under warranty, it wasn't till I quoted there website and said I should be able to drive over a wet sidewalk from fog without my scooter motor rusting out badly After 3 months my scooter was replaced.. I am very cautious and I make sure I keep the screws done up tight
@@StillRollin_Official your motor is 1500W? What is the size of the bearings? I pulled one bearing from the rear wheel from the side of the brake disc, and it is number 6203 2RS. I haven't removed the bearing from the cable side yet, and I don't know what number it has.
Been wanting to see this for a while. Confirmed! Not very waterproof. I wonder if you marine greased the new motor seals if the second motor would get rusty too. If you blasted it down with flex seal before the tire install do you think it would keep water out?
@ginger on wheels I do think that flex seal could definitely help prevent the issue. I do think marine grease electrical approved is a good option, but I think silicone or gasket maker is your best option?
gasket maker, like honda bond is really good! withstands high temps and resistant to oils, fuels etc it shouldn't ever be difficult to seal any beed of some sorts. @@StillRollin_Official

Sealing them is your best option. Do not worry about condensation. Best to luck to you 👍 sounds like your on the right path .

Was there any issues with the motor before you opened it? Or was it working fine?
With the motor being like that when you put it on turbo can it slip ?
My escooter speedometer went then shortly after the motor jamed up gets stiff when u speed up but spins OK when off ground
