I have an 83 Goldwing I am stripping down to a naked bike. On my bike there is a balance/vibration weight bolted to the front forks, but didn't see one on yours. Was there one? I like the old chrome headlight buckets better, so that's what I plan on using but I like the LCD type lights too.

Watch out for deer on those country roads. Good job on the goldwing to Cafe racer transformation, you did a great job, your dad taught you right.

Bought that bike brand new in '84. same color too. Put many miles on her including 4 corners. (Vancouver to New York to Miami to San Diego to Vancouver.) Never missed a beat.

Goldwings look so badass with all the ugly fairings off of them. They have a really nice hidden profile.

It would be cool if you made it so you can use the bags or take them off and it still looks cool.

You certainly have a skillset. I had a 1980( Australia) model, 1000 cc and Comstar wheels. Apart from the suspension, l loved that bike. I fitted SW rear shocks, made up my own air conversion for the forks, with a compressor under the top box.

GWing is the OG full dress (in my brain) Yours is a cafe fighter. I just got a croc seat on my sporty so i got chocolate milk in my nose when saw your finished product. looove this .. been thinking about trying something similar .. how is the ergo on it ? .. heavy ? tip .. when putting the leather on the seat .. start with the corners :) .. well the "corners" .. much easier to get the smooth roundings on the "leather" .. or pleather like we call it .. and PLEASE wear a damn respirator when sanding .. ty ... oh and GORGEOUS home you have

I'd never think of goldwing but it makes perfect sense! Its a great bike, often costing little but needing some more cool factor ;)

Superb video and astonishing build! But brother, pleaseee, look after yourself! Easy to forget being young and feeling indestructible, thats exactly how i feel myself! Breathing in fiber glass is bad, bondo even worse! Paint is no good too... only got one pair of lungs! Anyway loved the music, loved everything in this video, many thanks!
