The Bass generally open their mouth once you have your thumb gripped. Once you keep them supported with your other hand you do absolutely no damage to them. Coming from a barbless, single hook angler. 👍

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! We don't really force the mouth open, it's more to secure the fish for the time above the surface! You should always look at supporting the fish elsewhere and check angles etc though! Tight lines!

@lurefishingtv7788 Slow straight retrieve,when this doesn't work I do some tricks just like I do with a jig head.I was surprised as well.They've also a lure which looks like a fish head as weight, with what looks like an octopus attached to it.I wanted to order it but again the 10 gr. size is sold out....I guess RUDIE'S is very popular in Japan .It's called RUDIE'S GYOSHI Chiku.Tight lines !!

You are absolutely right, my friend! I use Rudie's hatagui ebi '2.5 and '3.0 for sea bass, sea bream and Mediterranean white sea bream, and although there are other more famous brands with more particular rubber compounds, Rudie's hatagui ebi has an attention to detail, to particulars that is absurd! That carapace with the protuberances, the long and thin antennae, the claws 🥰🥰 I always try to respect the truthfulness of the colors in nature, in relation to the size that I use at that moment: small shrimp in nature are gray or greenish, so with the smaller sizes, I use these colors. The bigger the Rudie's shrimp grows (3.0 and 3.5), the more I try to present the size with the most natural color possible, here are the red shrimps #akaebi and above all my favorites #orange shrimps 😍😍 Also interesting is the size '1.6 very small for lutra light. The Tai Uaka Raba that you also use are truly beautiful and deadly; I personally use them ( 2g, 5g e 10g) with linear recovery and with small jerks on the rod tip to imitate a small jellyfish or small octopus, when the recovery is interrupted, the Tai Raba descends to the bottom and "opens its tentacles" with the silicone flanges that move naturally (I fish exclusively in the sea). Rudie's for me offers a product with an excellent quality/price ratio and we hope that the costs do not reach those of other more iconic brands!

I probably wouldn't recommend anything else but UV Resin for it, it's just such a precise way of working and you can harden it quickly when you have it at the shape you want it to be. But give it a go by all means and let us know how you get on! Tight lines 🎣
