Palmer twp is the new N.Y city,if you miss congestion, dirty air, pavement, factory’s and all green grass and animals gone, come to Palmer,n.y city Twp
I showed a house in Palmer last night on a beautiful street, on a cul-de-sac, very peaceful, green grass, beautiful & serene. If you are talking about the main drag in Palmer with all the shopping, then yes, there is a big shopping area that is crowded and noisy, but it has a lot of great stores to shop in. Most of Palmer is pretty peaceful otherwise, in my opinion.
Nice video Tara
Easton looks very nice. How is the weather in easton pa ? Please let me know.
@cloudysky9395 we have the full fall seasons here. Some hot and humid days in the Summer, a beautiful colorful Fall, a chilly Winters, and lovely Spring.
Hey, is it worth it to move to Allentown PA?
@@RoselynElenaKoeppen there are definitely some cool places in Allenrown.
@@TaraRoyLovesRealEstate what about city central residential -Downtown Allentown?
@RoselynElenaKoeppen I never tell what I think, because it's all subjective (and I can't because it"s against my real estate). Come visit!
As a foodie myself, Easton is great disaapointment. I live downtown and there are honestly only about 5 or 6 restaurants - really, thats all - all are OK, but not one is great. Aside from mostly boring menus and less than impressive food, elegant ambiance and atmosphere are non existant. And there is no such thing as a great pizza to be found anywhere. I avoid the public market since it isn't even as good or as imaginative as a food court found in your average mall or airport, with very limited hours and overpriced selections, along with very little seating. Furthermore, the Lehigh Valley was recently named in a published study as one of the 5 noisiest places to live in the US, with Easton cited as the epicenter. Living in the historic district, I can attest to this fact - an endless, ear splitting parade of traffic jams, closed roadways, major construction, music blasting and several street festivals every month that further jam the already congested streets and airways with noise polution. Peace, quiet and charm are definetly not a thing here. And crime is a good deal higer than the national average - with a barage of recent car jackings, assaults and drug traffic. Not a place you want to find tourself after dark.
@jamesplatt4555 hmm. We have completely different experiences. I am in Easton after dark a lot, never felt threatened. Oak & Thyme are upscale and delicious. People are friendly. Festivals are fun. Maybe you just like a more quiet lifestyle? And as for restaurants, besides the ones mentioned, there is River Grill, Sogo, Pearly Bakers, Mesa, 3rd & Ferry, Ocean, Aman's, The Bayou, Meli, Sette Luna, Kabinett, Stoke, The State Cafe, Takki Ramen, Colonial, and that is just downtown (I named 18, but I know I am missing some). There are tons more in the West Ward & Southside. So, not sure if maybe you haven't been here in awhile?
Colonial pizza and Sette Luna are my fave pizza joints, highly recommend
You should move out. You should move to Mexico or some other third world place.
@jamesplatt4555 I bet you were picked on a lot when you were young.
Are the drugs high-quality at least?? 😊
No,,,I'm not really curious about,,,

Great job Tara.
Thanks so much, Dave!
I moved from Long Island to Orefield,Pa. How would you compare Orefield to Easton? Our agent for the apartment persuaded to move to Orefield because of the Parkland school district. It's been two years and I still feel like a city slicker out here. But, my son is still attending school. So we are starting to look around for a house and I know Easton is closer to New Jersey.
I love this video! Thank you!
You're welcome, Rebecca! Glad you enjoyed it!
I love your video. I have two kids (1st and 6th grade) and concerned about the schools.
Thanks so much, Rebecca! We do have several charter and private school options as well as the public school system in Easton. Feel free to call me if you want to learn more about the area! 917.626.9065
I've visited a few times and it has quite a bit of charm.
It really does, glad you enjoyed your visits!
How much would a house like this go for? Possibly moving there next year
Oh great! It's a wonderful place. 719 Hamilton sold for $399K
@@TaraRoyLovesRealEstate thanks for the reply. I’m just curious. I’m currently in Tx and on average earn 100k annually plus or minus depending on the year. Is this considered a living wage for a family of 4 up there? I know things are a bit more expensive
@ericb1876 the living wage for 2 adults, 2 children in Lehigh County is $38.47/hr which @ 40 hours per week is $80K so, yes!
@@TaraRoyLovesRealEstate I thought Northampton County, no?
Bedlam, boring before and after Steel.
Thinking about moving to Easton from NYC. How safe is the south side of Easton, specifically the area near Pioneer Park?
My real estate license doesn't allow me to talk about safe and unsafe areas as it could be considered steering, which isn't allowed. I would suggest googling "crime map Easton, PA" and find your info there.
Add Clam Jam to the list of festivals.
Yes, Clam Jam, for sure! Grouped in with the many more!
Such great info.
what are the best zip codes to buy a townhome?
Townhomes are sprinkled all throughout the greater Easton area. Text me your email address if you'd like me to send you a list! 917.626.9065

1:48 What happened to the two houses that used to here? That little seating area is new.
❤
Lets get real. Its 2023 and Easton has an alarming crime rate, including a rash of recent car jack jackings, drug arrests and shootings. Downtown is a congested mess of traffic and most definetely not a place you would want to visit after dark. Easton was recently named the third noisiest city in the country. Shops open and close constantly and many just sit vacant for years. There are only about 6 restaurants downtown and maybe 1 or 2 are worth trying. Don't buy into the short lived hype of a few years ago. Easton is getting scary. Comparing it to New York is a joke. This is a loud, crime infested city just across the river from another scary place, Phillipsburg NJ. Charming it is NOT.
Wowza. So, I guess you hate Easton then?! 🤣 There are over 25 restaurants downtown, crime is everywhere these days because our world is unruly, I visit downtown after dark all the time, I could go on and on, but I'm not here to convince you. I love Easton as do thousands & thousands of others. If you would like to get out of dodge, I have a cabin in the woods North of the city for sale!
Tara, what made you relocate from Brooklyn to PA?!
I grew up here in the Valley and after living in LA and NYC I never thought I would come back. But I did a neighborhood tour of College Hill and I fell in love! So we bought a house and I started working remotely.
The nice part of Easton. The cost is so high, you may as well go to Morristown, Parsippany, Morris Plains, Denville, or Randolf NJ.
So true
Easton sucks! I guess it's better than NYC, but it could be a lot better.
Aww, I LOVE Easton, and so many others do too! What don't you like about it?
A "real estate consumer?" WTF is that? :-)
🤣😂🤣 I know it's a little bit of a funny term, but it is anyone interested in real estate, whether a customer (someone who talks real estate or is provided real estate services by a real estate professional, but not a client) or a client (someone who is under contract to buy or sell real estate with a real estate professional). Hope that helps!
@@TaraRoyLovesRealEstate Thanks. Yes, every business has their jargon. As consumers, customers, guests, clients, patients (lol) it is so tiresome to try and learn them all. Thanks for the clarification.
@tuckerdaugh1836 yes! 100%!

What was the asking price? Potentially moving there next summer and trying to get a feel for the market. Thank you
It sold for $380K. A lovely large home!
@@TaraRoyLovesRealEstate wow. That’s not bad. I can’t wait to see what’s available when we head that way.
@@ericb1876 would be happy to help! Call me when you're ready - 917.626.9065.
Its a shame what happened to Lehigh valley…. Criminal
Please don't move here. It's not built for this.
You should tell everyone that Bushkill like most of the poconos is filled with crime . All the New York trash has taken over and your house will be broken into while you aren’t home or at best your house will be vandalized.
You two are absolutely adorable! Loved the video!
You suck!!!!!
If the house isn’t ugly, the nasty music you put on, it makes the most horrible house to look at.
Last year I moved back home to Easton after nearly 20 years in New Orleans. Housing prices here are absurd and beyond the reach of the average worker. Just because it's more affordable than NYC doesn't mean it's affordable. And Dorney Park should be on every one of these "Top Ten Reasons" lists.
I hear you! The average sales price of a home in the whole US is just over $348K and the average price of a home in the Lehigh Valley is just around $300K, so statistically, it is quite affordable, but that doesn't mean everyone can afford it.
As a New Yorker who has lived in the poconos (20 years) and easton (10 years), i can honestly say easton was the better choice.
There is definitely a certain charm and sense of community in the Lehigh Valley that is very different than the Poconos. It's so beautiful up there though!
For the love of god we don’t need any more nyc people moving here your driving up the prices and the taxes and the way you vote will turn Easton into a shit hole just like New York City. The place you’re trying to get out of.
God love you buddy
where are the best places to live in Easton? How far is it to take a train to the city? Are there any NJ transit train stops close to Easton?
There are several neighborhoods in Easton: South Easton, Downtown, the West Ward, College Hill and then several more in the greater Easton area like: Palmer, Williams Township, and Forks. You'd have to come for a visit and see them all to decide which you like best. There are no trains to NYC from PA, but there are commuter busses on the Transbridge line that go to Wall Street or Port Authority. During rush hour it takes about 2.15 - 2.30 min to commute because of traffic bit with no traffic you can get to the city in like 70 min. Hope this helps! Happy to answer any further questions.
NEVER GiVE UP .🎶
