Gavin Brunton & driver Mitch Morgan hurtling through Warnervale Station with late running empty coalie! Upon knowledge of train thru Teralba , made quick exit out of the house, with no brekkie and jamie still in his pj's, to go see them. Few minutes past this location Sydney Control advised they will be pulling up at Wyong for 45 minutes!! brekkie became brunch at 11am LOL.

CNF taxiing for takeoff with full load of water. will depart to the south for the fire front near gosford nsw. impressive climb-out performance with full liquid load! after taking the photos and video the RFS guys stated the pilot advised this will be the last loads for both a/c as they must head back to cessnock for fuel !!

AT802 FEP eases away from the loading area to make room for CNF to be loaded with water. Hectic afternoon for the ag boys fighting the fierce fire south of Gosford. Strong southerlies whipped up in the afternoon and caused havoc when the fire front "licked" the back fences of the properties around the hills. i was very impressed with the low noise footprint of these beasts on the ground.

One of two Fred Fahey Aerial Services new AT-802s receiving another load of water for the bushfire which is out of control at Pretty Beach south of Gosford NSW. Ashburton Air Show had amongst its aircraft displays the AT-402B from local ag firm SkyFarmers at Methven. With water bombing demo and spray run demo's, the Air Tractor made for one gr8 air display. Filmed 6Feb1999.

I love how the Beaver sinks each time he goes off the end of the runway during takeoff. The old girl is not quite to flying speed with that heavy load on her, but within a few seconds she starts climbing. So beautiful!!!

Nice video with nice plane..Cessna AG is one my best looking plane!! I had radio controled 188 agwagon 1900mm and 20cc gasoline engine on it....sadly crashed because of receiver failure..it was one of my favorite airplane.. great for flying on flaps with nice and smooth landings... i have some videos of her too at my channel. Was a loader driver for Airwork and worked with he and other pilots in the late 70's /80's. Pete was a real gentleman.
If a guy, like me, bought a slightly used duster like this one… stripped off the spraying stuff and converted the pesticide tank into an auxiliary fuel tank…I bet that thing could fly like 2000 miles without needing to stop for fuel! I am pretty sure they can pull lots of Gs both + & - too. If I remember correctly they are way overpowered and have super tough landing gear. Anyone who knows them please enlighten me with your knowledge…

Have to agree, the Fletchers had piston engines, the turbine-powered types were Cresco.
But it sure looks like FU24 painted on each side of the tail...
The Crescos are a different airframe based on the fletchers with a turbine. However the fletchers while originally piston with some converted to turbine. This is a fletcher with a turbine conversion.
Stallion was developed in Scone Australia, by Airpasture, using Fletcher airframe.

That's what we all want, but Jim Frogley is getting older and has decided against it.
Tell him to sell it on the proviso, it's going to get rebuilt, don't let it end up as a heap in the shed like the Avro. We're all getting older, he's my age (or was when at Bridge Pa)....and thats not old.
That is a best clip! Lots of interesting shots from all sorts of angles. Helps to give a good feel for the job!

Peter Irvine took me for a flight in an Airwork Piper Brave 375 back in late-1979-early-1980 from the old airstrip in Reynolds Valley, Little River. I was 11 or 12 at the time - and he certainly made this kid's day! :-)

This plane flew for Associated Farmer's Aerial Work in Martinborough owned by Claude Stephenson (who as a 19 year old or something like that captained a Lancaster in the war) and this was his second or third Agwagon for Claude. All of them brand-new ex-Wichita - other two were DRZ and DPQ. Biggest day was 100 tons, which must have been 200 cycles I'm guessing.
You're probably right bro, ZK-EJL's been around for a long time, first reg in the late 60's, still holds its reg today in 2020 according to the CAA register, more than likely the same plane your dad flew
