I bought a double needle Singer class 7 and a single needle Singer class 7-33, When I rotate the hand wheel slowly while keeping my eyes on the cam with groove in that links the needle thread take up leaver and moves it up and down, There`s a certain point the thread take up leaver does not move, The cam will rotate about a inch be for the thread take up leaver carries on moving again along its travel is this normal,

Hello... if you didn't want to use the Binding Attachment and just use it for standard sewing use, can you just swing it out of the way and use it or do you have to swap to a standard needle plate and presser foot?

I never thought I would miss the sound of a garment factory. I worked a dozen years or so before NAFTA shut us down, my dad worked at the same factory for 38 years. I could work 10 different machines by the end. Last station I worked was belt looping. I ran 2 of those machines sitting at a 45 degree angle to each other. Increase production by at least 30% by running two machines simultaneously. 🙂
