As I've always said, against better competition in the playoffs you have to tweak your play calling. Minnesota needs to involve the TE's snd RB's in a short pass game. Simplify it for Darnold. Run the ball more. Then, that sets up the deep play action. The point is Dam needs to get the ball out of his hands quicker. If the play isn't there Sam needs to tuck the ball and run. Make your offense simpler but more decisive. Defensively don't change much of anything.

Darnold carried this team 11 of the 14 wins. He needs better protection or plays need to change. He also has a run capability that has not been exposed by KOC because. I think KOC is/was worried about injury and perhaps rightfully so with not real backup. Now, he has DJ so I expect to see designed run plays.

Well when one of your olfeensive line players has a bad day doesn’t make it where you just stay in the pocket. You have to adjust every game. KOC after half time had to make Darnold roll out of pocket. He didn’t. Thats all on KOC!! That is why they lost .. so in the rams game there will be. Break down , KOC has to make the adjustment . That ‘s what drive me nuts about KOC . He just doesn’t adjust enough.

If Sam struggles expect Daniel Jones to come into the game for the second half. He may be on a short leash, but I predict either Sam gets banged up and DJ comes in OR SD struggles and DJ comes in to win the game in the fourth quarter. I believe he goes on to beat the Lions with SD on the bench. The Rams and Lions will not be prepared for him as much as they are licking their chops to take down a QB both have beaten already this year.

If the Vikings do not make changes and adopt the three-step drop back and quick throws they have no chance to beat the Rams, let alone the Lions the next week. No chance. We need a HUGE day from TJ Hockenson and Cam Aikers, not just rely on JJ and Aaron Jones like we have been.

I think people react to their emotions at the moment. It was hard to watch this offense compared to what they were showing the entire season. We know they’re better than that.

The Vikings get to go to SoFi which is probably the second easiest away stadium to play in in terms of home field advantage. That is a break for the Vikings.

Just tell flores to make the defense hold and dpi every play like the lions. Refs aren't calling it every play and they know it. You have to cheat and vikings coaching are too dumb to do it.

Still the only team in the NFC that is capable of beating the Lions in the playoffs is the Vickings with a competent KOC. In the AFC only the Ravens, not the Bills, as for the Chiefs' match-up; the Lions' Oline 'll neutralize Jones & for D Anzalone neutralizes Kelce.

We were never going to win that game when the referee's were in the Lions pocket, And seveeral pass interference calls that should have been made. I'm in no way excusing Sam Darnold for his play, Or the offensive line playing offensive, But it sure didn't help. There was also a missed facemask call on Darnold, And a Safety that should have been called in the end zone that could have changed the momentum of the game.

Alec, I put this on KOC. Sam is still relatively inexperienced. He should have quick slants and RB passes to relax Sam and also slow down teh rush if rushing isn't working.

This coaching staff, starting with KOC, squeeze EVERYTHING out of this team. I'm convinced that the 24' Vikings are a 9 or 10 win team with an average NFL coaching staff, and a 7 win team with lesser coaches. What KOC is showing us is that when his first string QB is healthy, his team is going to be relevant. When you put Flores in the mix it's almost perfection.
