Etc As for improving the game in general I have a ps5 pro and loading between rifts, games, matches takes forever. If 30 seconds to wait for opponent why can’t we choose perks? Add more emote wheel, load outs per character.

So many people are hind sighters right now. Nakat has got a real "make it smash" mentality right now that I think a lot of people want to feel comfortable in that skin. I didn't pick up or play this game for years for it to slowly turn in to smash. Not even the beta was close to smash in it's 'glory days'. This game needed a lot of polish, modes, and logical consistency with it's intuitive functionality like hitboxes and how they worked. It also needed tuning in the things it's unique in like hitstun, movespeed and perk options. I'm going to be disappointed in this game if I played this game for years for them to then literally abandon their unique take at a platform fighter to just copy smash for a vocal minority. They need to step up, take accountability and have some confidence and vision with the risks they've invested so much time in to take. Make rifts better, make perks better, make 2's better. It's fine giving 1's a space to exist but it actually feels like the dev team has no backbone with anything they set out to do since launch.

Remove shields and people will play this game

@9:56 i told devs shield should have its own "health l" bar, in addition to its current mechanics. Cause both defensive options being disabled over 1 stamina bar is type imbalanced

They have to fix so many things. They should have waited to release the game. Rushing the game out last year, killed its reputation. Look at how Marvel Rivals played the patient game and polished before releasing.

I'll probably stick around till the end for this game. like what both of you guys said toward the end, coming from someone who grew up on Smash on the 64. Its the simplicity I like, coming to this platform wasn't too hard. Theres so many iconic characters for people of all ages there are plenty of ideas they could throw in to make this more exciting and captivating and make people wanna jump on board. If the replayability is there, people will get on more. We dont have to copy but lets take a sec' and look at all the other fighting games out and how they lasted for so long. Rifts are just boring af, lets add a story mode or something. U fight every character and can choose the difficulty, with short skits for ur character and maybe towards the end even go against 2 bad guys vs 1. And last fight maybe some kinda boss mode like Trigon, or anybody overpowered depending on who you use. We need more game modes, shouldn't just be on the weekends and maybe on fights the whole lobby can vote on maps. Also lets get back some more perks, useful ones!..and maybe make the maps more active and creative, like traps or items you can use like when Mojo throws bombs and you get chance to pick them up. 💣 and also maybe some kickass fighting music? 🎶 I didnt get the chance to play beta much but they should speed it up just a bit more 🤏 maybe give everyone a general grab? Badges are useless, we dont need them. Instead maybe we could get a reward or a special skin and background for playing ur main character to a high level. For all the grinding ppl gotta do on here you should get a little more reward for all the time put in. The potential is most definitely there, future characters need come sooner! Less currencys, more updates and better themes and loading screens for every season. 👌

Banning stage is necessary .. I hate playing iron giant in dexter lab... sour and sweet spot is a great idea. And yeah platform fighter is about movement.. movement is the best defence

I just wanna say... although this game gets alot of hate I will say it's so cool to be basically helping create a game be the best it can be and watching it grow from arguably garbage to something great eventually.

The main thing that makes me alt f4 consistently is losing a match to stupid hitboxes. I've been maining nubia and my spear half the time goes clean through the characters and doesn't hit but the 17th batman in a row I'm facing hits me with moves that are swinging in the complete opposite direction and has no animation touching my model. I really wanna love this game but sometimes it forces me to hate it

if the tech system and if there were sweet/sour spots like roa2 / smash that would be great

Ngl one of the main changes I think they need to make to the game is the monetization and amount of currencies there r. It’s just insane that we have 4 now when we only had 2 back in the beta, and the monetization is even worse bc every skin now has to paid with a shit ton of gleamium.

What moves does Finn have that carry people? None, he has backpack maybe and dtilt but those aren’t even guaranteed to work, Finns front is open for a good few frames, and his dtilt was already nerfed by getting rid of his shockwave and giving it to nubia’s dtilt
