Getting Irish on St. Patty's Day!

This is a teaser for a trance track that I'm working on called "Fly Away". This is the first time that I have filmed, edited and scored my own work. The shots were taken in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Ventura and Jaffna.

I took my camera around downtown San Jose and got all the shots for this project. The clips are shot at 210 frames per second, which allow for smooth slow motion shots. It took me about two weeks to shoot and edit this video. The soundtrack is called "Just like you imagined" by NIN. Thanks Ryan for helping me take some of the shots.

Here is my take (it's not exactly the same as the soundtrack, hence 'my take') on the Halo 3 Menu Music. From the first time I heard it I knew I wanted to play it and I finally took the time to learn and put it up on You Tube. It has the familiar theme from Halo 2 and a new piano melody. Marty is a genius!
