I hope you can drive that across the border cuz that's the only place you're going to be able to sell it.
None of the videos talk about when you remove the bumper and install a replacement that you have to remove the left and right reinforcement panels. They also do not discuss the upper bumper step pad. I just did mine yesterday and it takes about 6 hours to complete. There is hardware transfer involved as well. It’s a little bit of a chore especially if you have the exhaust tip bumper which I do. It does save money though. I bought a replacement bumper from eBay with coupon code cost 264. Right reinforcement panel was 120 and the step pad was 129. Paint on my bumper was 459. This was as of 8-20-24. If this was done at a collision center it would be around 2000.
Great job Ken. This will be my weekend job.
Face nail an putty faster
Man am I glad I found this video. I have some excess movement on my passage side of a pocket door and I wasnt sure how to dress it up. This is a great idea
is there any kind of shock/suspension on the standing platform?
Yes, it has suspension.
“Dust Free” 😂😂
How much
The 1575 with Cab lists for $51,549. A 72" Rear Discharge Deck lists for $6,431, so the total list is $57,980. We discount a lot off of that depending what discounts you're eligible for. Thanks!
Where did you get your replacement bumper? Ken, I really appreciate your video. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you. I ordered the bumper from my GMC dealer in Asheboro, NC. They always treat me well.
Great Video I’m buying one.
Thanks
Clear, concise, no "Music" No BS... 3 thumbs up!
What a great video. how very helpful. Thank you, Ken, for showing it clearly and explaining things. I learned from you.
What is the location of this dealership? I am interested in the mower.
www.jamesriverequipment.com/ It's in Asheboro, NC Look for Ken Jaeck
Why do they always omit the $ ???
I wasn't thinking about the price as I just wanted to show the features before the owner picked it up -it had been on order since last Oct. We do sell in volume and will figure every discount one is eligible for.
Beautiful
Great job by my coworker, Preston Cole, doing the video!
Hi. Bad dent on the chrome rear impact bumper on my 2021 Sierra. Can I take the chrome dented skin off or do I need to remove the entire bumper? The black surface step has popped up a bit from the dent, but I think it can be saved.
You'll have to remove the entire bumper. Then, you can remove all the plastic and backup sensors, as you can get at it from the backside to release everything.
Thanks! I will be happier in the long run if I do. The clips break when you do it wrong.
should only use a soft blow hammer on the wood flooring
I can’t figure out how to remove the tailgate on a multipro. The right side is easy. The driver side I can’t figure out. If anyone reading this knows how, please let me know as soon as possible. In the middle of the project now. Thanks in advance!
Pull the tailgate sideways to the right. I'm sure you figured that out. Sorry for the late response.
Just what I needed. Thank you!
Thanks Ken, great tips
Thank you!! super helpful!!!!
Why would you make me look at this? 😂
We've been looking at the 28G to haul our Challenger and Chieftain. Based on your experience with the Challenger, do you think their is enough room to stagger the Chieftain in there as well?
Yes, my buddy has a Chieftain, and we haul them together just fine! That's why I just installed an inside camera. I made a video on that, too! Have fun!
Hello, can a regular home owner order these parts and install based on video or does one need to go thru an HVAC maintenance to get the parts and have the work performed? I am in Florida and have this code error. Also what is the cost of the part?
Yes, you can do it yourself. I ordered the parts over the internet and installed them myself.
What are the shims in place for?
I put the nails through the shims to secure it plumb.
what is the plastic top part called
Full pack already idol from Edwin Colubio Channel. Hope mine too. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing. Where did you get the door handle? I cant find one like that.
Please look at the previous comments as I answered the same question. I don't have the answer handy right now.
@mnspeed1932 Thanks for the video. I just purchased a brand new 2024 and the tailgate won’t shut flush on one side. The tech in service tried adjusting everything and said it was a warped tailgate, but before they order a new one they are sending it to the body shop. Any idea what would cause a gap like this on just one side? Thanks!
How do you make the stop trim?
*promosm* 😚
Looking nice!
I cam hear it through my headphones ...wheww I had one on my 98 ram 1500 , my ears got used to it... I had the windows down all the time...
Thank you for sharing ❤
Great video! I am having issue now after my replacement of it dropping a bit fast as yours did. How did you fix that issue? Was it something with that torsion rod bolt? I put new plastic bushing on the hinge. 21:15

Yes, I forgot to put the plastic piece on the end of the torsion rod that fit into the round holder on the truck. Hard to explain.
how did you remove the driver’s side of the tailgate?

I forgot to put a piece on the lower right side.
That's not quite for my design
What is the part number for a multi-flex tailgate? Will it fit a 07-13 silverado.
Good question. You would need to supply power to it.
Great vid. Did you delete the resonator? Or resonator still on?
Never had a resonator
@@owentimo Ah okay, my 2006 5.3 didn’t come with one either, but I read that GM had a hard time quieting down the 6.0, so thought maybe the 99-06 NBS 6.0 got a resonator like the 07-13 NNBS 6.0 did.
Hack
I got a new one in a body shop right now getting painted for my 2023 1500. Make sure you latch your trailer hitch before loading your tractor. Truck only had 200 miles on it when it happened. Thanks for the video.
Accidents happen. I know the feeling!
Very helpful! Are jambs sold with recess?
What exactly was repaired? If at all possible, I'd rather repair the dent in my bumper rather than replace it. Bumper assemblies for these Silverados/Sierras sell for $800 or more. If there's a cheaper repair alternative that would be ideal. The repair part is why I watched this video.
As you can see by my picture, the bumper was beyond repair.
