Hey Ryan. Nice comparison. Thanks for doing this. Your V2 looks fantastic. Just a heads up. I did my first V2 in conjunction with the Obi Wan motorized stunt, which is why they were machined as a single piece. The V2 kits went out with the emitters detached though. A couple of people did request that the emitter stay on though, so I'm guessing you must have got one of those. This wasn't the standard setup. Easily detached though. 👍 you'll find that you will need to add a flanged bushing to make up for the removed material and to tighten everything up. I'm machining them separately for the next one because of this. Just wanted to clarify why the emitter is fixed on the one you have 👍 great video mate. And awesome work as always 👍

One of the things I really like about yours and the Dave P is the weight .You’ve said yours and the Dave P are thicker diameter as they’re static so that makes them heavier the Dave P especially with the bearings inside it. I like my OG trilogy sabers to feel heavy as that’s how a lot of them originally were especially obi wand hero prop being made mostly from steel parts. Light weight more hollowed out and FX sabers are more prequel trilogy speed as they were made of a mix of resin and aluminum. I’m disappointed I missed out on both yours and the Dave P run

Потому что я давно это кино смотрела и она тоже изначально показалось что на во всём виноват сам Джим Керри когда в маску это не мог на себя её одеть просто так она вот она обычная которую вы её показываете это она из дерева деревянная маска но как она потом в резиновую превращалась в это интересно что-то такое происходило он один раз решила одеть на себя эту маску и показать её в общем она вот одета на нём маска его и вот она такая интересная эта маска что казалось что она какие-то чудеса творит это маска оказывается она ничего такого не вытворяет это маска получается что она здесь очень играет важную роль это маска то мы дело я же зелёную одевать на себя он делает себя интереснее намного он становится владельцам этой маски и обязательно он на себя именно себя показывает ей его ну я не знаю как он её смог в этой маске ходить потому что там показываешь ну он её зад каким-то способом заполучил но скорее всего это она всплыла из со дна моря что там как раз таки сундук сундук видно открылся и ласковый плыла оттуда по-моему ни при чём мне кажется просто как-то ему это всё повезло но тем и вам повезло что именно у него была у него была девушка не у него а дорон по-моему Дорен называли бойфренда женщин девушки той с которой он танцевал сам ипкис вот и решил что ли отомстить ему он тоже как-то тоже маску что ли это приобрёл какую-то где-то тоже зелёную на нём была мне он решила отомстить такие же способом пристрелить пытался ну ипки с там хитрец он такой тоже он же в маске в этой он стал то прыгать то скакать и как пружинка и всё и все пули которые э задевали якобы его ну просто мимо пролетали и его не задевали нисколько мне кажется что ипки с удалось просто удалось отпрыгнуть от этих пули интересно всё так происходило очень интересно мне понравилось всё-таки но правда и именно сам э сыграла Джим Керри очень интересно этого Иса мне кажется вообще самый лучший в окошко подскочить пыталась смайла я пыталась помогать ему во всём ключики стащите у охранника чтобы сам ипкис попытался выбраться потому что ему нужно было всё это остановить потому что я скорее всего Дорн было во всём виновата то что он был каким-то злы злым человеком очень злым когда одевала эту маску у него краснели глаза он остановился прямо неуправляемым попытался убить этого Иса за что непонятно им кислороде никому плохого не делал ну вот такое произошло что мало помогла ипкису выбраться из из места заключения и он сбежал из тюрьмы и пришлось всё это останавливать то что невозможно было смотреть что происходит на самом деле но ежели он не избавиться от этой маски она его просто уничтожит и пришлось ему как-то избавиться от этой маски выкинуть его в море это в маску где он её и нашёл вот и всё а там@его же собака вытащила это в Москву тащила её за собой и плыла с этой маской вот и главное что интересно и собака ему помогла маску на себе зелёную натащила прикольно было вообще собака стала как как сама маска лицо собаки интересно было ну вообще прикольно ну вообще вон там она и сама Майло попыталась этого Дорама остановить всякими путями кла- прикольно

если этот фильм знаю я его давно знаю в том и дело что как бы кто бы мне не показывал я всё могла я всё рассказала про этот что-нибудь что могла Месси Джим Керри умел танцевать он там это делает за этой маски если в этой маске у него не было э он бы не танцевал вот всю эту маска его делала такое что-то весь фильм об этом почти рассказано его с тем что он постоянно там что-то вытворял просто утром и находилась у себя в квартире а до этого он то разбивал чего-то то ещё что-то там на полицейских бросался ну там вообще какая-то так запутанная история вот что мы делали что сразу я не поймёшь чем там причина но в том что причина его это та причина что он всё-таки это гибки всё-таки было это был таким человеком который ему всё было интересно он эту маску они просто так нашёл какой-то сундук раскрылся под водой и маска выпала э наверх наверхность а он наверное просто шёл э куда-то там он прогуливался что ли даже показывали что он гулял просто по берегу и с- ему на берег выплыла эта маска ну и взял вот так а когда эта маска появилась она какая-то видна как говорится она не такая уж хорошая маска она получается что какой-то носила да кто ты эту маску оденет на себя то будет Бет много из-за этого эта маска ему почему-то приплыла с того ни с сего вот она мне этот фильм очень не понравился а вы его затронули эту тему а мне эту тему очень нравится мне и нравится разные роли Джейми Керри то что вообще хороший актёры и я много фильмов его знаю как лжец как другие кино что есть э о чём поговорить даже в этом кино потому что мне нравится как он танцевал это всё его маска делала танцы там были и спектакль был показан интересный спектакль и даже много спецэффектов как он кувыркался там как от пули избегал э пули всякие то это оружие из карманов доставал хмм каких-то цеплят достал что он только там не делал вообще всё классно было мне понравилось это Джим Керри потому что он умеет играть он умеет эти роли играть у него очень получается😊

Hey ive been reaching desperately trying to get some guidance on creating my ideal ROTJ luke saber. Im not overly concerend about screen accuracy. What i would like is a quality, aluminum V2 but with a brass neck / windvane section. Im not sure if most v2 hilts out there have neck / windvane components that can be unscrewed and replaced with brass, or is that section usually one solid piece of machined aluminum? I tried reaching out to Solos Hold, becuase i like thaylt hilt a lot, but havent heard back. Is there any company ir desginer out there that would helo me create this? Again im lookomg for a v2 (graflex clamp, mystery chunk, cone stud, etc) but with a solid brass thin neck and windvane section, instead of the screen accurate black. I want to have it installed as a neopixel lightsaber and if theres a way to have a crystal chamber / chassis that would really make my dream saber. I figured i would save and get exactly what i want instead of setteling . Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction as im brand new ro the hobby!

Awesome work, Ryan! Your thoughts about having the right weight resonate with me tons. I’m always disappointed when I pick up a wicked looking saber, only to find it’s weightless. Holy Moses. Your story is SO close to mine!! I was 10 or 11, working as a film grip in Portland OR with my Dad. He was a filmmaker and we were just finishing up some work with Crimson Trace lasergrips. A lot of "The Hunted" was filmed in PDX on the bridge and waterfront there. One of the guys with the Portland PD that we were working with was a Sayoc Kali knife instructor, Rich Daniels. He was awesome and taught me a bunch of Kali knife fighting while we were bored, waiting for filming to wrap up. I got bit by the knife bug and saw a replica prop of that Tracker blade in his office. It got me started in knifemaking, and I'm almost 40 now. I've made SO MANY tracker copies. It's my favorite blade to use in the woods. Dude, your version of that Tracker is SICK. Any chance you could trace your blade and send it to me? I have a huge binder of tracker pics and drawings. I'd love to build one from an original tracing/prop. Awesome video!

Nice video. I have the Murph watch but will get this as well. Hamilton is not available in our country , so have to rely on friends or when i visit a country they are available in. This is a handsome manly piece. And yes Interstellar will be a classic in years to come and always cool to own these watches from the movie.
