To be your true self means to be somewhat alone and outcast. The irony is however you feel happier in your solitude because you’re authentic and those that are close to you are truly friends and family who see the real you. To wear the mask is to be among the majority but an empty shell within.

Personally to me, the reason Akechi showed up at the very end was to catch Joker's attention, forcing Joker to look at his reflection as to make Joker realize the mask/glasses are still on; reminding Joker both he and Akechi are finally completely free without the need of masks.

okay i haven't heard anyone talk about this, and maybe i'm insane, but at the end of the song, after Lyn says, "How you Bring Joy to Life, so..." that humming sounds like words-- and I think it might BE words. I keep listening to it but can't quite discern if it is anything for sure-- but what I think I'm hearing goes sort of like... "Know that I am-- gonna try [indecipherable for a bit] final days... under the summer sky." pls tell me i'm not crazy

Persona 5 introduced me to the entirety of Shin Megami Tensei and even though I have played quite a few other smt games (currently playing smt 4 and will play apocalypse after) persona 5 still holds a special place in my heart, it might be because it was my first but even if it wasn't I will still love it, finishing it made me feel like I was leaving behind real friends, and it sort of encouraged me to make friends. I know that probably sounds really cheesy but that's how I honestly feel about this game, from the confidants to the palace stories to the soundtrack, it's all amazing

This feels *ESPECIALLY* relatable, growing up as an autistic person and going undiagnosed for most of my life, well into my adulthood. I had to mask, and keep masking, for so long that soon I lost sight of what my true self looked like.

Its crazy to me that every single lyric in this song relates to Akechi's character. This song really makes me happy, seeing an entire song basically dedicated to Akechi who is one of the best characters in all of persona, probably the best in my opinion really shows how much Atlus poured into this character in royal. Also the song just slaps in general. Im not a guy who sings often but im really happy this video exists because its the one song i will actually sing and not feel embarrassed

Great video. No more what ifs is probably my favourite song from p5r. The first time i listened this ost in the jazz club with goro started cry. it helps me to take some important decisions. Can you pls add this video to the wallpaper engine?

Wasnt really avid with drinking coffee until I played the game. The song really does make coffee better. I even make it so that I wake up earlier just to drink and chill to the song before going to work especially. Made my outlook more positive but theres also this bittersweet feel now that Ive finished the game. Not my first Atlus game but my first Persona. How Ive been missing! PS. When youre in that part of the game where the lyrics start playing for the first time had me in goosebumps
