Around 2 AM somewhere in Idaho me and my buddy were calling for coyotes. For several minutes while observing some rabbits, noticed that the volume on the call was fluctuating. Turns out that Mountain lion had pounced it while coyote fighting noises were playing. Fox pro call. MFK calls.

Shot with ruger American 6.5creedmoor 140 g eldm.@200 yards . Went right through the heart and lungs. And blew up the shoulder on the opposite side of the animal. I love the way this gun shoots and have shot placement confidence with it. And that is what matters i believe .
2022 buck season

I shot my little buck in the fist few hours of being in the trip to secure a successful first hunt excperience. Shot in the spine with a savage 110 in 270 Winchester. 140 g Hornady interlock hand load. My friend had a bad luck moment missing all over because of a scope base that had become loose at the worst time.

Great video man I'd recommend leaving text on screen showing what caliber each shot is so it's a bit more clear though
Good camera work, and great shooting. It's cool seeing the vapor trail from the projectiles, air acts more like a liquid in terms of ballistics. That 308 really knocks that plate around.
Have had great luck with the 140eldm's. Let the haters hate...
Not a fan of eldm or eldx bullets for that reason right there... bullet separation.
Also some messed up lungs and a broken shoulder on the opposite side.
She ran 20 feet 3 times with a face plant in between. I am surprised by the ability to run at all with a heart that got split in half.
How much did it run?
Didn’t run very far with a broken shoulder. Or with a heart cut in half. Maybe a total of 40 or 50 feet after between a few stumbles. I was tempted to put one in its head exactly when it flopped over.
@@phardy86 That's what I was saying to myself during the video, just put one in the head. Great shot, great hunt. In all my years of hunting I've never used a Hornady bullet until 2023 deer season. The ELDX and ELDM performed the same in 2 different 7PRCs. Shots were close, from 60 yards to around 220. Was also my first time to ever use a bullet labeled "match." I did it for 2 reasons. 1. Saw youtube videos of people praising the accuracy and lethality of the ELDM and, the factory ammo shot really really well.
