No wonder "9 Broadcast Plaza" which was already known in many circles and outlets as "The Richard Bey Show" even before WWOR officially called the show that in 1992 was more popular. This show is depressing and dreary and lifeless. And Springer's smug atttitude really just seems to take focus, not to mention codeless. This show really had none of Bey's dirt or Morton Downey Jr's passion or Jackie Mason(also WWOR)'s grace. I'm surprised this shitstain wasn't on, in NY/Brooklyn, WCBS at first. Because "Geraldo" was his sister show (which at this time was, also in New York/Brooklyn, on WCBS and WPIX consectively). This guy was always on WNBC before he switched to WPIX in 1996. This show was always either a CBS station or Tribune station magnet, like "Geraldo." Both unpopular stations and shows. "Morton Downey" easily stomped this guy and "Geraldo" in the ratins.

Olly North on the very first episode of Jerry Springer, he was still a VERY controversial figure at that time and was still considered by many to be the "face of corruption in the government". Shocked he was the very first guest on Springer.
