Real Talk (Review) on Cyberpunk 2077
Переглядів 7 тис.2 роки тому
Yes that's right, another video on Cyberpunk 2077. I decided to change a few things from the last video but the essence of it is the same - in fact about 90% of it is the same. This is more of a reorganisation with less fluff, some slight differences and a bit more honesty from myself. Enjoy... or don't. This video is oddly gathering more attention than usual so I shall take the time to point out that yes, I am aware that collecting hidden packages gives you weapons and ammo. It is something that completely slipped my mind at the time of making this video though, hence why I found myself constantly going back to ammunation to restock my ammo, which quickly became annoying.
HIDDEN PACKAGES Who cares about losing ammo when you get it all back at home for free
I feel sorry for the kids these days that only get to play GTA V or GTA V Enhanced or GTA V BLOODY AGAIN 😂 When my friends and I were growing up it was during PEAK Rockstar Games, not only did we get like 6 GTAs with most being really awesome Period Pieces (GTA VC/SA/LCS/VCS) but we also got stuff like Bully, Red Dead 1 & 2 (Revolver and Redemption 1 for all you babies out there 😅) Max Payne Trilogy, Midnight Club, Manhunt 1/2 and so many more amazing games. I miss old Rockstar 😢
A timeless masterpiece
The final human mission should have had Arthas slaughter his own army with assist from Mal'Ganis's cpu undead army Then Arthas betrays Mal'Ganis and takes over his army
I enjoyed Darksiders 3 playstyle as soulslike since it felt quite home for me coming from Bloodborne and Sekiro infact I found Darksiders 3 much more forgiving than soulsborne games but nonetheless I did enjoy the combat I wouldn’t mind if they use the same system or a mix of rpg hack and slash for the 5th instalment but that’s just my opinion everyone has a preference
1:55 Dont support Koticks breast milk addiction
33:30 You really don’t use prosthetic tools at all do you? Hahaha. Firecrackers are so good for this fight. I get that deflecting is fun. But damn prosthetic tools are so fun too! And amazingly effective.
With names like abaddon and vulgrim (fulgrim), I wonder is the guys who made this series are 40k fans
Dude. It's gotta be played with the Japanese voices. It's soo much better.
I have nostalgia for these games
the watcher remind of ryuk
gaulent remind me of irfit from devil may cry
vulgrith remeind of ryuk
This game is amazing I just recently got my shura outfit!
My first playthrough made me lose my cry... so no I'll keep kuro's charm, thank you very much
12:33 mikiri transition was tuff asf
You can't block perilous thrust attacks but you can deflect them though so you technically don't need the Mikiri counter for them. You can side step too. But yeah Mikiri counter does way more damage to the posture of the enemy than deflecting thrusts. Also this is something I learned from Joe x0F who's a veteran Sekiro player, that the Floating Passage attack from Genichiro (Where he initially does two attacks and then goes into a wild parade of follow up slashes) can't be perfectly deflected based on where you are at the arena you fight him. In some areas of the arena you can perfect deflect all the slashes but some areas you can't. I don't know how it works, maybe it has to do something with the terrain but apparently it's a thing. So I always deflect the first two, then run away and come in at the last swipe for a final deflection. 😅
Damn… i remember being 14 and getting broadband and wow at the same time, after playing wc3! No wonder time flew by… rip my feelings 😅
I really enjoyed the recaps. Stormblood when?
Currently editing... before the end of the month hopefully.
@acritical yesss!! I really like that you recount the story and you are giving your opinion at the same time. Many times I was laughing because I felt the same way as you in many parts of the game. I like your style!
On the Lord of hollows back, is that the ark of the covenant? Cause it looks like it
it was fun up until it only revolves around the heros being broken an op during matches
I thought Sekiro was hard once. Then I tried Spin Rhythm on the XD difficulty. I've never recovered, emotionally or psychologically.
52:00: the terror build up is on point tho, you just chop a monkey head off and it pick it's head up and scream at you, lol 59:10: that's...the point, it's to disrupt the fight and allow HIM some rest moment, it reflect in the character that use cunning and dirty trick
Sekiro was the first fromsoft game Ive played. I thought it would be just some kind of Tenchu type of game, man i was wrong.
Here after DS2 PS5 version and the announcement of a new entry.
Problem for me with demon bell and Kuro's charm is that it's difficulty that you choose. So that means, if you want, you can get rid of them at any time. I don't like to SUFFER, and my first playthrough was not it anyway. yes it was hard, but I understood that I need to adjust to game roles. There is no shortcuts. But if shortcut exist (removing demon ang taking back Charm) it's too hard for me to not use it. I play and understand that because of MY OWN decision I suffer and become angry at the game. And I don't want it. I want to enjoy it. And if I CAN remove difficulty, rather than adjust to it, I WILL removet. Can call me git gud or smth, I don't really care/ My point is, thta Bell and Charm should not be removable. If you chose this path, there should not be any way back
i discovered wc3 when i was 9. now i am 15, its still my favourite game
Did they only recently add a friendly NPC samurai to the Juzou the Drunkard fight? Because when I played it for the first time the other day, I had a helper who died quickly but essentially trivialized the NPCs surrounding Juzou, so I could have a true one-on-one. Either way I love this game, great vid
Wait now i feel stupid, I didn’t know that you use the mansk to get to the angels outpost, i just run then hover towards it.
I remember getting GTA3 and feeling I would never ever again get bored...lol
You were spot on with how you described Darksiders 2 for me. It was a great game, but overstayed its welcome and dragged on too long for my liking. Towards the end it was getting pretty tedious, but Death is still my favorite horseman, with Fury coming in second. I really enjoyed her development in the end and her hallow powers were fun to use in battle.
And here, in the year 2024, we got a trailer for the next Darksiders game. Cautious optimism! I really wanna see how this series ends. Give my boy Strife the main game treatment he deserves. I'm hoping for at least two more games, one for Strife and one with all four horsemen. It would give the story more time and room to be developed and loose ends tied up, with a great big grand finale! That's just my take on it anyways. So long as they take their time to make an awesome game to round out this awesome story I'm set!
Sekiro is legendary definitely one of top games of all time. Would love a prequel or sequel or something similar, or even a new IP similar to what you said about Sekiro & Bloodborne.
you saying that sword saint is one of the best bosses in all gaming must mean gael is there as well RIGHT
First time I cleared Isshin it took me around 10 days, during that time everyday after work, I took a shower have dinner, and then face him. And when I finally won, when Isshin said "well done, Sekiro" it was something I can not described I played Megaman series so hard boss is not new. But Sword Saint Isshin, is just the best
Holy shit! This is mental
"The demons have no hold over me!" [gets put under a demon lord's thumb] Illidan: [surprised pikachu meme]
Every time you beat a new enemy first try or finally beat a new boss - the audible Ohhhhh of relief and a satisfaction is legendary
I know the video is a bit old but the reason why Blizzard decided to up their game with Starcraft was casue of a failed game by Ion Storm called Dominion, even tho their game at the E3 presentation they had was completely faked
After a 100% trophy completion, and a 100% game completion, including all endings and gauntlets of strenght, i can personally confindently say, this is my 2nd favourite fromsoftware game just under bloodbourne, which takes first place barely due to the mechanics and overall story. All in all, a fucking masterpiece and a definite yearly replay is gonna be happening, it never gets boring.
Those who think it's a good game are losers who have been conned. It's completely scripted and linear. Want to attack an enemy or a boss the way that you want ?? Nope, the scripted coding says you can only do it a certain way in a certain hit window at a certain timing window. All these souls fanboys think it's OK to play a memory game learning the bosses move. It's lazy game designing. In good games you can take out the boss first go if you're good enough. And check out how long to takes just to pick up loot. WTF ?? The i-frames are just mini loading screens. The small stamina resources are a cheats way to make it difficult. The devs couldn't even design several difficulty settings like AAA games do ?! It's not worth the money for the short playing time, and there's no real replayability. The enemies are always in the same spot.
By the way, when Owl does the firecrackers into sword attack you can just dodge into him after parrying the shoulder and sword attack, preferably dodging forward to the right, and you'll end up behind him while avoiding the explosion. Since you're behind him you get two hits in that he can't block, although he can vanish in the Owl Father boss. It looks really cool to do and it turns that attack into a good opening.
I couldn't even imagine playing this game with keyboard/mouse.
I did. This was my first fromsoft game and the first PC game i ever played. Ishin took me more than 4 hours.
The ONE thing i genuinely disliked about this expansion was the Nanamo stuff. Not only did it take us away from what we cared about, but just like you said, it completely undermines all the intrigue I had at the end of ARR
21:23 legendary filmmaker of the "1900s" 🤣. You make me feel so old
Top 3 game of all time for me personally. Changed the way I viewed gaming. A large part of me once and sequel, but a small part likes that this masterpiece only has one entry
It would've been cool to fight Lady tomoe
Blubblub is my favorite game ever
I had just finished the Shura as my NG+ after doing Dragon Homecoming ending and beating Isshin in 5 attempts, including one where I fell out of the arena by accident. I hated the Demon of Hatred and Guardian Ape on first playthrough, and hated the Headless/Shichmen/Isshin Ashina p2 as well - status effects, imo, have no place in games. Did you know this Isshin has quite a few moves previously displayed only by Emma? Well he can, for instance, do the same grab as she does - except faster. And how the game has dozens of enemies performing Ichimonji, and even the slashing Ichimonji Sword Saint does can be jumped upwards or deflected? Well you can't do that in this phase because you'll instantly burn. Or how about the one mind that can proc while you got affected by a patch of fire bursted while preparing for it, and thus it's an instant respawn too? I hated this, as it mostly came as cheap and mandatory 'change how you treat me or respawn' instead of the fairness shown by Sword Saint. For instance, the charged air swings he does there with both sword and spear can be jumped on top of for both avoiding damage and getting a few hits in. While Emma's grab can, but only in ~50% of the cases, in others she'll just grab you out of mid-air, making the Shura ending, overall probably my 2nd least favorite encounter for how unfair it felt. At least with headless and shichimen you learn you need to ako+confetti and can just slash them up, but this felt both difficult and.. mocking or at least like a punch below the waist. P.S. strangely, I got the bull first try (and 4th on NG+ lol). Best fight in terms of my enjoyment was Geni, I spent 140 attempts always trying to press him and not getting time to breath and it was, pardon the pun, breath-taking.
