The Potato Museum Show
Приєднався 17 кві 2010
Seriously? Yes, indeed. The Potato Museum was established in 1975, by teacher Tom Hughes and his students at the International School of Brussels, in Belgium. One of the first “food museums” anywhere in the world, it grew from there, and today comprises the world's largest collection on the history and social influence of the powerful potato.
Its artifacts, artwork and objects have been key to three major exhibitions: “Seeds of Change,” produced by the Smithsonian in the early 90s; at the same time, “The Amazing Potato,” a 6500 square foot project of Ottawa’s Museum of Science and Technology; and back in Washington, DC, in 2010, “Spuds Unearthed!” put on by the US Botanic Garden on the Mall. Next up? A major project with a team in Northern Ireland.

The potatoes we eat are actually th...

Furthermore we used no fertilizers. So it was all an experiment for us who know a lo...
