Cecilia Bartoli Non Piu Mesta, from La Cenerentola (with score)
Ok oops. This video was accidentally deleted. But here it is again lol.
Cecilia Bartoli sings Non Piu Mesta from La Cenerentola by Rossini. The prominent contralto Geltrude Righetti created the role.
Cecilia ornaments this aria a lot so the score doesn't really say what exactly is sung. Enjoy.

coloraturafan repost: High F! 19 Sopranos Una Voce Poco Fa
Переглядів 295 тис.7 років тому
My tribute to coloraturafan, the original poster of this video. Some of these are not High Fs. There are a number of High Es: -Ingeborg Hallstein -Pretty Yende -Sylvia Geszty -and the second Maria Aleida video are all High Es. Also there is of course a High A at the end done by Maria Remola. As well as a weird interpolated High G/Ab by Erna Sack The point is that this a collection of sopranos w...
Juan Diego Florez - Ecco Ridente in Cielo (with score)

I am not a *Huge* fan of Juan Diego Florez, but he is pretty awesome in this. And to show how hard the ornaments are, I did it with score animation. Try to sing this... its really hard! This is from The Barber of Seville by Rossini and the Count Almaviva was written for Manuel García. Let's see how Juan handles this!

Edita Gruberova - Caro Nome, Rigoletto (with Score)

I recently posted the same aria done by Maria Callas, completed with score animation. Maria Callas ornamented the aria to some extent, so I decided to post the same aria with Gruberova singing, who did the aria como scritto (as written). - Eliminating the staccato French-like cadenza and interpolated high Es added by Luisa Tetrazzini, Toti Dal Monte, Lily Pons and Erna Sack. The role of Gilda w...
EDITA GRUBEROVA CRAZY COLORATURA!! Mia speranza adorata - Ah, non sai, qual pena (W.A. Mozart)

I adore this aria, and I think it is time for people to hear it :) This is one of the most difficult concert arias that Mozart ever wrote (IF NOT THE HARDEST)! This aria was written for the legendary Aloysia Weber, Mozart's sister in law. Written especially to display her virtuosity, Edita Gruberova gives us a real true coloratura interpretation of the Aria. The aria has a range from the middle...
Alexandrina Pendatchanska sings: "Tu al cui sguardo onnipossente"

I have been fond of this opera for some time now. And think it is time for me to share it with everyone. I chose the Cavantina- Cabaletta scene of Lucrezia Contarini, sung by Alex Penda. This opera, I due Foscari, is an opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi. In this scene, Lucrezia Contarini, Jacopo's wife, learns from her ladies in waiting that the trial of Jacopo is proceeding in the Council ...

Trio: This is one of my favorite Mozart recordings and one of my favorite Opera scenes. Who can think of a better combo than Sutherland, Alva, and Schwarzkopf singing Don Giovanni together?... well I can't. Enjoy!

This is Typical Mozart singing, masterfully sung by Dame Joan. This is the famous Studio version with Schwarzkopf, Taddei and Wachter. Recorded in 1959 :)
