Thank you Mark for making this video. The tank is a CorGal Model 2105-WT-CHR and was installed by Specified Water Systems, LLC. What you can't see from the outside is a 6" underground line that provides water to the facility's fire pumps in addition to the draft connection you highlighted in your video. A sprinkler system is required for a facility of this magnitude, but for smaller developments, a draft-only connection is common. I appreciated your video.

what is LDH?
Hi, What is the price for a Water Truck like this one?
No idea.
No action??
Here in Delaware, we also have the use of several 18 Wheel Tankers at our disposal, but we DO NOT EVER USE DROP TANKS !!!!! Our Tankers are strictly Nurse Tankers only. Typically on a Structure Fire in a Rural Setting, with no hydrants, an 18 Wheel Tanker comes in with 6,000 gallons of water, and immediately hooks up to the Attack Engine, and begins feeding it, and then, the next incoming tankers will each hook into the 18 Wheel Tanker, and keep it full, and as each smaller Tanker empties into the big Tanker, they pull out to go and refill at a nearby fill site, and the next Tanker in line hooks into the big Tanker, and keeps filling it until they are empty, then they pull out, and the next Tanker pulls up, hooks up, and continues the process. We have never run out of water yet by doing it this way, plus, the road still has a lane open and clear for empty tankers to get out and go refill, and return, without having drop tanks all over the road to clog the lane of travel up.
And that’s why you don’t use electric valves
Talk to Winfield! I thank we can help one another brothers and sisters
I want this in our district. Ice flow kills our stuff every year
That concept Needs to spread to it's northern brother Oklahoma!
Where do these bulk tanks get filled at? Go to your local water department and fill up there?
They generally get loaded using a municipal fire hydrant and a water meter. Sometimes they can possess a permit to load from streams...depends on what type of water they want.
@@GotBigWater Thank you very much for responding back!!!
Effin awesome!
Looks like a nice setup
At what discharge pressure is the line feeding the turbodraf, that is, the 2 1/2" line, and the distance at which it is located, approximately how many gallons per minute does the water return?
The discharge pressure to the TurboDraft was around 200 psi and the usable return around 600 gpm.
@@GotBigWater we were able to discharge around 830 gpm out of the deck gun using turbo draft, our hose were only 100 though.
thats not a 5,000 gallon tanker
It's 2 tankers with a total capacity of 5000 gallons. Says so in the narrative.
Where did you guys get that 90° fitting piped down to a 45 for your storks fittings??
That was made by 4Guys when we had the tanker refurbished by them a few years ago.
Thank you , is four guys still around....where are they located?
@@pauladams8956 Yes, they are located in Meyersdale, PA. However, HME/Ahren Fox, Midwest Fire, and Ferrara have all made the same style fitting for tankers in recent years.
@@GotBigWater Thanks for all the info on that fitting 👍
Very nice job
With 2 large suctions w/valves; one in each tank and 2 less transfer lines using water! Keeping one end of tanks open allows extra tanker to dump 👍
Great idea!
Where can I get one of those vacuum gauges? Btw I like all your videos
The one shown is just an inexpensive vacuum gauge from Grainger.
The more water you get to the pump the more it can move! Try larger dia. Suction On steamer port 4.5- 6 Test the difference😱
The debris problem could be fixed by using your straight ladder from the ferry dock into the water and marrying the hard sleeve to it to keep the strainer elevated in the water.
Good video.
Is that tank safe for fire work? Not sure what material it's constructed with.
Xerxes - the IBM of water tanks.
Just over 1000 gallons. A 100' section of 5" LDH holds 105 gallons of water.
Hi! How would I get started in water trucking or how to learn how to do it all? Where would i get the water from? Could i just drill a big well or? What’s the best truck to get? Highest gpm pump type for transferring water? Thank
Then, you have the kind of decepticon battery for it. Mostly cannibis sales and enough friends & idiots to aide in your seclusion. People dissappearing left and right, calling head traumas shock and bullys humans.

Did you pay for all that water use?
Question I thought(in any case is) turbo draft, instead of basic drafting 50 feet(or more).
Have no clue of what was being described here.
Liquid gold in Windfall!!!
Do you guys ever work with the "Water Thieves" training company? They teach drafting and big 2000+ gpm operations
The suction strainer research project was a cooperative effort with Water Supply Innovations, Andy Soccodato (Water Thieves) and us. The 2000 gpm club is related to pumping - usually from a pressurized source. Our 1000 gpm is related to hauling water with tankers.
The Flame Paint Job on the Tandem Fire Truck sure makes a statement!!
What pressure were you pushing to get your GPM? Any idea the age of the hose? Also, were there any other sections that delaminated?
