Improve Your Problem Solving
Переглядів 137 годин тому
As we move into 2025, let's really improve our ability to solve problems, new and old. When we allow our minds to relax and calm down, we move into theta brain wave mode. To do this, we need to find spaces where we let our senses soak up the environment and over time we will notice that our mind will find those solutions to those problems.
Live In The Moment
Переглядів 716 годин тому
Be present. Live in the moment. Let's all put our phone down and really take in our environment and our surroundings. Instead of recording that concert we're at with our phones or taking the 100th photograph of the scenery, let's just take a moment with our senses and our loved ones to be in the present.
Meditation And Walking

Our lives are full of stress, both mental and physical. All the science shows that meditation is a great antidote to that. I encourage all of us to find a little bit of time each day and go for that walk. Do the walking meditation to help alleviate our daily stresses. Walking is also great for our cardiovascular health. I read that if your adrenals are not working properly or if you are worn out, intense workouts will hurt you instead of help you. Do you have any comments or advice on this with reagards to intense workouts?

    • @DrGregWells
      @DrGregWells Місяць тому

      @@Marie-JoseeCardinalStaff the concept of adrenal fatigue is not generally accepted in the research literature. However, if you are experiencing high levels of stress in your life overall, and you also try to do intense workouts that are physically and mentally demanding as well then it can lead to overwhelm and burnout. Best to do light activity when you’re experiencing a lot of stress in your life.

    Can i still grow at 16 years and 5 months old, i slept for 4,5 hours when i was 14, 15 and now im sleeping well, my mother is 166 and father 177, im 178 would i be taller if i used to sleep well, my brother is same height as me, and 2nd brother is taller than us for 5 cm

      i’m not an expert but il give u an answer based on what i know. for a boy the usually age you stop growing is 15-17 (ik they say like 18-21 on the internet but maybe after 15-17 youl grow a tiny little bit) i’d say if your that height st that age then there’s a little chance youl hit another growth spurt but considering you already passed your parents i’d say naturally you could grow another 2-5 cm.

You end to understand heart and head coherence. Stop writing and speaking. Your doing a disservice to humanity. Further your not a neurologist don't talk about the brain.

    downhill running isn't a real option. If you run with proper form you will accelerate up to speeds you can't control. I did a sprint up to ~24mph (11m/s) even with a little decline of 1-2°. The consequence was a hip/groin injury wich last a year! But most poeple can't or won't run downhill correctly. They would be braking hard with every ground contact and never reach high speeds. The constant high breaking forces (~3-4 times bodyweight) does your body no good.
