"Trailer Theme from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" - Concert Band
I wanted to take a stab transcribing this for concert band by ear. What a challenge! Some parts do tend to sound a bit more exposed than I like, but there were moments of the "reversed voice chanting" and bass hits. I wanted to go with a more acoustic approach when transcribing. This was a fun challenge for me and forgive me for the piano solo at the end. I really tried to get it write, but did what I could. This was transcribed in Finale with the NotePerformer sound font. Trailer video is property of Nintendo.
This piece was arranged for Concert Band. The original rendition was created for orchestra and choir. Parts include: Piccolo, (2) Flutes, Oboe, Bassoon, (3) Clarinets, Bass Clarinet, Soprano Saxophone, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, (3) Trumpets, (4) Horns, (3) Trombones, Euphonium, Tuba, Bass, Bells, Piano, Timpani, Snare Drum, Bass Drum, and Auxiliary Percussion.

This is the version I played back in high school. I didn't see any "true" recordings on UA-cam, so I went ahead and transcribed the score into Finale and rendered a recording. This is done with the NotePerformer sound font. This version is arranged for Wind Band. I do not own the sheet music.

I just had to take a stab at this musical masterpiece and arrange it for concert band setting! This theme is so majestic and energizing that it has been in my head since the premiere. For concert band, you will notice that there are no strings included in this arrangement. We will hopefully get a title for this entry in the Legend of Zelda Franchise soon! Trailer video is property of Nintendo a...

Here is my rendition of "Medley from Link's Awakening". This beautiful movement is from The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses and the movement does such an amazing job of telling the story of Koholint Island and its inhabitants. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (1993) is a title to the series that is whimsical, but has a dark side as well. While playing the game, you will encounte...

This edition was transferred into Finale v20 and exported in NotePerformer soundfont software, which is drastically better than the standard Finale sounds. "The Knight Who Seals the Darkness" by Kumi Tanioka, Reo Uratani, Ryotaro Yagi, and Haruki Yamada is the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity edition of the Legend of Zelda Theme. This theme is fitting for the 35th Anniversary of the Franchise. ...

The Star Spangled Banner (as performed by Whitney Houston) for Marching Band
Переглядів 5674 роки тому
The performance of the National Anthem at Super Bowl XXV in 1991 in Tampa, Florida by the late Whitney Houston is revered as one of the best renditions of the song. The unsung hero of the performance is John Clayton, who re-harmonized the anthem to this masterpiece. There are obvious differences, such as the "Star Spangled Banner" is traditionally in 3/4 and this rendition is in 4/4. Here is a ...

We have been dropping WWE Themes as of yet, and we could not cover the genre without arranging this banger. This is by the illustrious WWE/WWF composer Jim Johnston. The theme is "You Look Fly Today", which is the entrance theme for Too Cool and also use for their victory dances after matches. The Too Cool faction is composed of Scott Garland or better known as "Scotty 2 Hotty", the late Brian ...
"Danger at the Door (D'Lo Brown Entrance Theme)" - WWE Theme for Marching Band

Keeping up with the trend, I thought it would be cool to arrange some of my personal favorite World Wrestling Entertainment or World Wrestling Federation themes. This is "Danger at the Door" by Jim Johnston. This song was made famous by WWF wrestler D'Lo Brown. Like many WWE/WWF themes, this song has a fusion of rock/hip-hop/rap styles. This song would be great for any marching band "stand tune...

Greetings everyone! I decided it would it be cool to arrange some of my personal favorite World Wrestling Entertainment or World Wrestling Federation themes. The song is performed by Christopher P. Warren....

Ever since my own graduation in 1995, every time I've attended someone's graduation (regardless of whether or not they're a family member), I've always started getting choked up when the music starts. I don't know whether it's because the music's too loud, or what it is.

It's the association with the end of an era that may trigger those feelings, those who are graduating are moving on which can be bittersweet. Also when the band plays slower, it makes it more likely to trigger feelings like that than when the band plays quickly.
