Lean Wit Me (Juice WRLD): UK Psychology Professor Reacts
Today's reaction / analysis is concerned with the song "Lean Wit Me" by Juice WRLD. In this video, I delve into the psychological themes present in the song's lyrics and visuals. I'll be examining the artist's portrayal of self-destructive behaviour, loneliness, and the longing for connection.
Throughout the analysis, I'll offer insights into the inner dialogue depicted in the song, highlighting the conflicting voices of self-destruction and self-awareness. We'll explore how the artist's vulnerability and authenticity contribute to the emotional impact of the song. Additionally, I'll discuss the potential cathartic effect the song may have for both the artist and listeners alike.
Join me as we unravel the layers of meaning behind the lyrics and visuals of "Lean with me" and delve into the psychological insights it offers. Let's navigate through the complexities of human emotion and behaviour together. We would love to hear your thoughts and any shared experiences you have with this song.

OK, my take. The title is A Soul in Distress. I think it means he's stuck between being born into a child. He's a soul. When a baby struggles in birth, it's believed by some that there's a rift before taking full ownership ( sorry, I can't think of another word for it, atm). He picked the wrong number to be born, in this universal lottery. His feet have never touched the ground. I could be over thinking...

I had an extremely bad mental health year in 2020 and saw a brilliant psychologist who tried a lot of various techniques with me. He was up front saying that many don't work for many people and it has to be the ones that you find gel with you. Your comment about mindful breathing and the reaction? That was me. He got me to do it though and FOR ME it had a notable improvement. (Other mindfulness techniques did nothing) I thought initially it was just the circuit breaker effect - in terms of just the distracting yourself from the negative thoughts (that further we went into with STOPP) but then he went into the physiological basis of it as well (via the calming of the vagus nerve) which helped me further. I didn't feel so stupid/ridiculous that controlling my breathing made me feel better. 🙂 Anyway, I love Ren. I'm enjoying seeing your take on these thus far.

Hey everyone, this is Byron Phillips from Datrysiad Media, we are working with Dr Nic to help produce his content. We have a batch of 6 react videos being released once a fortnight. So the next 12 weeks we have consistent content coming for you. Before we record the next batch, we will be peeking at the comments section, looking at your suggestions and checking on how we can improve the experience for you. Any feedback is most welcome. Whilst we can't respond to every comment being made on the videos, please note we are looking, we do appreciate you engaging in the videos and love hearing what you have to say. Have a great day everyone and look forward to hearing your feedback. Thanks

Hey there, thanks for this. Could you make the video itself easier to see? The double image of the screen is pretty distracting. As much as I love dear Dr. Nic I don't need to see SO much of the back of his video screen or for you to prove he's watching the video, and out of respect to the artist I'd also like to see his work more clearly. Lots of us watch on our phones and I'm straining to see the tiny video thumbnail here as it is without seeing half a chopped off screen over it. Hope this makes sense and helps!

@@BabyBeanMonkey Hey, thanks for the feedback. Just done a little editing on the next video. What I have done is when the artist is playing I have nice blurred out Nic and the artist video is bigger and in the centre of screen so you can see more clear. When Nic is talking, I've put it back to where it was before. I will run this change by Nic, but I think it looks better, so thank you for the suggestion. Hopefully it will make it easier for you next time a vid drops.

I don't know that Oliver was just directing a bunch of anger at obese people on welfare. I think he was trying to point out the injustice of homeless going without food while obese people use tax payer money to keep eating themselves into an early grave. Then you add on top of that that the tax payer money is coming from working class people that really need that money too. Speaking for myself, I don't think it's fair that our government takes money from working class people without their consent then uses it to enable food addicts. I don't think we should just cut people off welfare but we need better programs to get those people back on their feet so they can start contributing rather than just taking from the rest of us.

Igor Krutoy famos Russian composer!! Krutoy's songs have taken a worthy place in the repertoire of such pop stars as Irina Allegrova (more than 40 songs, including “I will part the clouds with my hands”), Valery Leontiev (more than 20), Laima Vaikule (including “ Chestnut Branch, which they sang in a duet), Alexander Buinov (more than 30) and Alla Pugacheva (“LOVE LIKE a DREAM”, “Ah, lieutenant”, etc.). Igor Krutoy also became the producer of the fourth "Star Factory", successfully collaborated with Lara Fabian, wrote music for films and theatrical productions. The popular composer has released more than one disc with recordings of his songs. So, one of the first was an album called “Songs of the composer Igor Krutoy” (parts 1-6), in 1997 a collection performed by Alexander Buinov “Islands of Love” was released, two years later “My finances sing romances”, in 2002 followed by the disc "Songs of the Composer - Star Series", and Irina Allegrova recorded an album with Krutoy's songs "I will part the clouds with my hands" and "Unfinished novel". Igor Krutoy writes a lot instrumental music. So, in 2000 he released the album "Without words", and also at the dawn of his career he wrote music for three feature films: "Thirst for Passion", "Hostages of the Devil" and "A Souvenir for the Prosecutor". From what ive learned about him ., from him, is that a few months before this song came out, he had been in such a depression for so long and was at the point he just wanted it over. Medicating himself with weed and alcohol daily...and writing songs . At rock bottom he prayed to god and told him that if he helped him get his music out there, his life would changed, he would quit the medicating himself and give his life to god and 30 days later ( approx) rich man from richmond came out. I think god knew the world needed a man like this right now. And im not the only one who thinks that. So yes, id say he meant wanting to go home was both ways, but theres only one that was possible. He had found out rock bottom had a basement but he also found out there is stairs that leads out of it 😊 have a great day

I’m surprised the ‘fans’ would have suggested this worst version Dimash has performed. Slavic Bazzar is the best version and his first appearance in 2027 at the ‘Singer’ competition is also great. I suppose this was a more recent version, but certainly not the best. It’s rushed and clipped notes.

It has so many views because he is not singing, he is emoting the emotion that most people in the USA and the west are feeling because of a vast socialist oligarchy into an audible language that we can share with others who are in pain. The loss of freedom in the USA is sharp.

Dears are a wealth of information. There is always a story behind what Dimash performs. Be it history , a dedication, loss, love for his “Dears”, family and more. The story always makes his performances memorable.

Dimash becomes the song. It doesn’t matter who wrote it. Thank you for a wonderful reaction. Dimash sings real music. And he’s an incredible human being!!!

Saluti from Italy 🇮🇹
