Gentrification. Living in Escazu where rich people live, the baby was born in the Hospital Cima, a Hospital for rich people, having a nanny, only rich people can afford that.

I was just in Costa Rica July 2024. My dentist is located in hospital Cima. I love Avenida escazu. So I know the area that you are speaking of I too would love to move to Costa Rica. I am retired I have a home in Florida I am a San Antonio native. I will continue to watch your UA-cam channel to learn more I did inquire about rent and housing while I was there I will be coming back again to finish my dental work very affordable.

I live in Hong Kong so was sleeping when you were live. This was my first time watching. Anyway, I switched from Yoast to Rankmath (paid version) more than a year ago. Since then, I have experienced a progressive decline in traffic. I didn't notice it at first as I thought it was seasonal. But when l was reaching my traditional peak season (April thru June), my traffic went into a free fall. That's when l took notice. It has declined from 23,000 hits in April 2023 to about less than 4,000 so far this month - my WORST month in 15 years of blogging - except maybe the first two months. Before switching to Rankmath, I was experiencing a steady increase and thought I had finally made a breakthrough. I can't help but wonder if it is time to throw in the towel.

Being able to move to Escazu sounds privileged as hell. Most middle-class people in Costa Rica could never afford it, which is why Escazu is so gentrified. You moved into the Hamptons of San José.

I just hope you are paying taxes and supporting local businesses because if not, I will politely ask you to leave :) Gentrification is a real f*cked up problem that has been affecting Costa Rica for years now. So many costaricans have to leave because we can't afford the living cost of our country, prices keep going up and up and salaries are going down and down. The government only cares about selling properties and giving accommodations to foreigners who are independent when people are literally dying of hunger and there is not enough economic flow. The government don't care about us. F*vking nepotism and corruption is all we get. I sure know this because I am one of those people trying to escape this situation. I have not eaten a real meal for the past 2 days. Only water and cookies.

Hey did you get to apply for residency? both automatically become citzens after having a baby in costa. My friend from Nicaragua also had a baby with his wife there both were not legal there but after havinf the child they got citizenship.
