_As a person who shouldn't *really comment*,_ I'll have to say (literally using the "I'll have to say..." in ALMOST. EVERY. DARN. COMMENT.), Here are a few so-called tips I made for a better result, I guess? Instead of "tracing" meticulously (sketch-lineart), you can use short, quick strokes. It's absolutely okay if you don't want to use this, but it can totally give a cleaner lineart. Try a stabilizer (if you haven't). It smooths out your strokes _iirc._ *I wouldn't go over the layers and folders since you may already know how to use them,* but here it is anyway: Use folders to organize colors and stuff, and whenever you color and shade, you can create a new layer and then put it below the lineart layer (if you're looking for a clean piece, duh). You can name layers and folders too! Also, regarding the "shading" stuff, under soft light, the light should be blurry. Intense light, on the other hand, is a sharp shade. And for *actual shading,* for a more appealing result you can turn back the color wheel for shading (eg. navy should be used on cyan) Rambling done. It's fine if you don't want to use them, but I'm not a professional artist xD - An Anonymous Person, 2024 June
