I Skied in a Lightning Storm... St. Mary's Glacier Skiing in August, GoPro 4k
After spending in the night in Colorado Springs, I made the trip up to St Mary's Glacier in hopes of locking in some August turns. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm rolled through putting me in an interesting situation to say the least. Thanks Brittany for the lower section clips!

Skiing Independence Pass on Opening Weekend (and whitewater rafting attempt), GoPro 4k, Aspen, Co
Переглядів 1455 місяців тому
Made it into Aspen en route to Durango and had the chance to have a day up at Independence Pass, one of the first days that it was open. Great experience coming from New England and a brief glimpse into the large swaths of backcountry terrain Colorado has to offer. Glad I was able to hitchhike for a second run before my car came! Thanks Reywas for joining me.

Little late to the upload from weeks of traveling and getting settled in in Colorado for the summer. Fun day I was able to squeeze in before the end of Junior year of college.
Oakes + Hillman's Highway | May 3rd, 2024 | Tuckerman Ravine

A quick trip up to Mount Washington to explore Oakes Gulf for the first time. Unfortunately, our line was undermined and we didn't have enough time to hit Main Gully/Airplane Bowl. Despite this, it was an amazing experience to explore new terrain and Hillman's skied great. More to come.
TOTALITY. | Sugarloaf, ME
Переглядів 1277 місяців тому
We made the trip up to Sugarloaf to capture the once-in-a-lifetime total solar eclipse from the summit. Being on a mountain illuminated a 360-degree sunset that was surreal to say the least, and unlike anything I've ever experienced. This video is a brief attempt to encapsulate that moment, and made the at times standstill traffic on the way out well worth it. I would like to thank Jeff Dickers...

Towards the end of my time in Copenhagen, I made the trek out to Copenhill to experience skiing on top of a renewable waste energy plant. Made the most out of adapting to the new ice-like surface.

They said the ski season in New England was over... | Skiing Tuckerman Ravine in July

With the snow melting quickly, I made the decision to drive up north in hopes of chasing snow and taking some final turns of the 2022-2023 ski season.
I Skied Mount Washington and Bridge Jumped in the Same Day.

This was quite a day. Quite exhausting but what has been a thought for more than 3 months became a reality, and I couldn't be more excited with how it came out. A slightly different style of video but hopefully a good transition to more summer content, coming soon.
Great Gulf + East Snowfields | May 13th, 2023

Started up the Cog, then hit the East Snowfields, where the weather opened up and we were greeted by open skies. After traversing to the Great Gulf, we finished the day skiing patch by patch down until the snow ran out. Another great day in the mountains.

Cam Stathos | Sugarbush Parks Early Season
i did this hike too, and was definitely worth it
i want to ski here this march, do you think the snow will be good around mid march?
March is generally the best month for snowfall at Sugarloaf and has the highest likelihood of being close to 100% open, but impossible to predict. Last year March was warm and wet until the last weekend when we got 2 feet of snow....
Joel 2:28-32 New King James Version God’s Spirit Poured Out 28 “And(A) it shall come to pass afterward That (B)I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; (C)Your sons and your (D)daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My (E)menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30 “And (F)I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 31 (G)The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, (H)Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. 32 And it shall come to pass That (I)whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be [a]saved. For (J)in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be [b]deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among (K)the remnant whom the Lord calls.

So sick!
Thank you Noah!
CAM! We're the people who shot you skiing the St. Mary's glacier 2 weeks ago in Colorado. Where's the vid?? Put it together, your audience (we) are hungry for good content!!!
Hi Bethany! I've been a bit busy driving back to Maine, but it is in progress! Stay tuned!
So sad to see the lousy snow cover so early in the year.
How much vert was it. Seems like you got a long run out of it.
I believe it is around 2.5k vert from the summit.
So cool. We went up a few years ago but only made it to where the glades begin. We were both out of shape that day, hoping to go back and snowboard from the summit. The glades are groomed by the Granite Backcountry Alliance which is super cool
sick video
Thank you!
Love it cam!
Thank you Cal

Stud
Thank you Jackson!
Bravo!!
Great shots skiing down - very relaxing watch!
Thank you Bossman420!
Sick video! You mentioned in the comments how extreme chute/elevator shaft was now put in bounds, and I’m wondering how you got down there. I’ve skied the backside a fair few times but never been down that way before. And also, did you go out behind Bullwinkles to get into the west mtn. bowl or did you take a different route, ive always wanted to get in there
The entrance to the chutes are right below the final steep pitch of the backside, if you look closely in the video you can see signs subtly pointing the entrances out. As for the bowl, I cut into the woods off Timberline. Thanks for the comment!
Found your Strava profile and I’m so glad I did, it helped me out a lot. Can’t wait to send this next season!
What time stamp are the signs at?
@@Waddles2160 You can just barely see a blue sign at 1:55 but it is covered in snow and hardly visible.
Where in frame?
Great skiing! Some of my favorite trails right there. Can't go that fast on Lost Princess though! #skioz
Thank you! Pretty interesting trying to go fast on that trail.
More park footy!
Soon...
of all the skiing videos i’ve watched, this is one i keep coming back to. you’re clearly a talented skier and you put some serious thought into making this video enjoyable/ the song choice. hopefully they open the back side next year so i get to see it for myself. keep up the great work!
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words. More Sugarloaf content coming soon!
This is clearly an April fools prank - no such lift exists at Sunday river!
Wrong.
Good stuff man
Thank you
Quality content
Thank you Jason!
When I skiied Sugarloaf back in the 70's I'd gaze longingly up at the snowfields and wish I'd have the chance to ski there. It never happened, and certainly never will now. Your video is a great look at what it's like to actually ski the snowfields. Thanks so much for posting.
Thank you for your comment! The aim of the video was to showcase Sugarloaf's offerings when conditions permit, and I'm glad it was able to do justice to the unique experience.
How long did the whole hike take you?
Took about 57 minutes from the top of King Pine and about 20 minutes to descend.
Minneapolis needs to do this,
For real.
That green gnar
Thank you Daniel!
Great Music🎉
Thank you man!
Looks fun
Thank you!
Sick!
Thanks brother
Hey I really appreciate the fact that you showed the map at the end and your travel time. That's so helpful and non-gatekeepy.
Thank you man! I always like to maintain transparency.
Crushed it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks man!
I have done this route. Not for the faint of heart at all. Watching your shot of elevator shaft brought me back to the moment. You may be the only person I know who has video of it.
Appreciate it! Since it has been put inbounds I haven't seen any other videos of it, hoping to be back there soon!
What skis? Sick vid
Appreciate it man! Skis are Faction Dictator 3.0.
Boy you nailed it! Epic weather, epic conditions. Gotta go late March to early April before the masses bump it up and it turns slushy.
