Thank you for your videos. Your approach to the topics always drives me back to the game.
Advanced technique to save some fuel: When approaching the target from a distance you don’t have to cancel your relative velocity to 0. Instead, “push” the retrograde marker towards the target marker. Burn on the opposite side of the retrograde marker from the target marker until the markers line up. Then slow down when you get close. Do the opposite when you want to increase speed towards the target by “pulling” the prograde marker towards the target. Do this by burning on the opposite side of the target from the prograde marker. This technique is especially useful when landing near a target on the ground.
You can actually leave the braking power at 100% on the rear wheels, as they won't flip your car. Great video and very helpful!

Nice. Remember when rockets were all flexible and would wobble? KSP 1 Note: "Nu-Clear", derived from Nucleus. Not "Nu-cue-lar".

So I built the same rocket but my Delta V is at 3,996 and I cant launch using only the boosters, what am I doing wrong.
For your escape from Kerbin to Jool orbit did you use the mun for gravity assist. I ask because my burn for that was 4 grand plus dv. I burned through all the stages of Hydrolox, and over 3/4 of the Nuke stage. I am wondering how I screwed up so bad.
Um....camera shots and positions for the launch? HOW?
I built this rocket and my performance dropped like a rock, or is that normal ?
@Clowderman instead of rotating your rocket after launch so the red line moves from the bottom to 90 degrees left, why don't you just leave the rocket orientation as is and instead of rotating after launch hold "D", or maybe rotating your rocket 90 degrees clockwise in the VAB maybe that will orient the rocket so you can use "D" without rotating after launch?

Awesome video Clowderman, thx! Way to stick the landing right in the monument zone! A couple things that frustrated me the first time I tried this mission: 1. There’s currently a bug that causes the space craft to sink or “fall” under the surface of the Mun if your Kerbal gets too far from the vessel. My first try, I landed about 2.8 km from the Monument (I believe the zone is around 150 m for this one). I humped it all the way over to the monument and returned to find my vessel was gone. Avoid this by (simply?) landing perfectly next to the monument…or within about 500 m. 2. Tall landers like yours have a tendency of tipping over easily, particularly when the Kerbal exits (too abruptly) for EVA. Avoid this annoyance by quick saving before exiting, then be ready with your finger on the [space] bar, then selecting EVA and [space] in quick succession. Basically exit and then let go as quickly as possible. This will usually avoid the lander tipping over. Boarding doesn’t seem to pose the same problem.

That's odd your UI is glitched. After the final burn you had a negative AP. When you switch probes the values didn't change.
The mo-hole is in the north pole. Like perfectly. Originally in KSP1 it was a terrain glitch caused by the way they map a square texture onto a spherical object. By the time they got around to fixing it, they didn't because too many people loved it. In KSP2 it's larger and 100% intentional. But yeah its location was caused by the way the game was made originally.

I was so confused how you had the science to do all of that research until I realized I was supposed to use the science equipment and not meerly do the missions. Obviously lol
