This is an extremely naturalistic take on a metaphysical reality that probably comes from the denial of spiritual or supernatural phenomena.

She is right. There is no fixing it. I have had it for 20 years. And it never gets better. And it is pointless to tell us to stay positive, hang in there, you can beat this and there's always hope. You cannot beat depression and there's no hope. If you reach your hand out for help how many people would actually grab it? Answer is none. Or how about when someone offers "help" but just ends up letting you down. Nobody wants my burdens. So i keep them locked up. Why bother right?

I think it's important to add that sometimes a partner must get away from a partner who does not handle their depression appropriately, as the irritability can lead to abuse. The other partner can think "oh how can I support and understand you," all the time which might enable them, if they are not willing to take accountability and talk about their problem, then that partner is in for a miserable life, and I don't want to normalise staying when it slowly kills the other partner.

Ive had major issues with depression since i was around 7 im 36 now. A lot of it is childhood trauma as well as a of violence pretty consistently throughout my life. Its so bad i dont remember my childhood, my teen years or even a few days ago. My brain deletes my memories to keep me safe. I also have major issues with feeling and processing emotions. I have little to no empathy making any kind of relationship difficukt at times. Ive had to learn how to mimic emotion and the correct responses in social settings to try and come across as normal. I feel empty and emotionally unavailable leaving me finding it almost impossible to find joy, happiness and contentment within things people and life. Though im still trying and getting help i dont want to give up i want to live and feel alive. I want to feel what others feel and experience things with the emotions and feelings that are supoosed to acompany them and hopefully ill achieve that one day. Please never give up on yourself keep fighting and things will get better and easier i promise you.

5 kids, all two years apart except last one. 8 years difference between 4th and 5th child. Just celebrated my 25 year wedding anniversary. Reboot? Babysitter? Try and afford a babysitter 4-5 kids! Try and stay married for 25 years with no reboot, I laugh because its sad. Its not about a reboot. Divorced people trying to figure how marriage with kids works.

He was at her apartment? You have to pick up your stuff and go!! He’s definitely being unfaithful. Why didn’t you guys address this? That’s crazy! A huge and important boundary is that you are not alone with the opposite sex for any reason, and this guy is already lying and admitting that there is an emotional affair? This advice just missed the whole point of her question!! 😓 Whoever wrote in, I hope you read this and have self love and value to yourself and pick up and go! He does not deserve you nor want you if another woman is fulfilling his needs, emotionally and or physically. Sorry but that just the honest truth.

Starts with WHERE your CENTER IS. You base your center on the world or your feeling or past experiences then you are NOT at the CENTER. Yahweh and Torah is that Center or as Yeshua called it the ROCK upon which you walk in. Once you have established your CENTER upon that which is TRUE AND GOOD then NO MATTER WHAT YOUR PAST has been you walk in a RENEWED LIFE.

For a man it helps you to know how and when to serve your wife. She will notice your perceptiveness and should naturally reciprocate. It helps to discuss your styles before hand as well. This works because females tend to push away when over stressed by their man or life in general. They need to be relaxed, feel loved and feel safe to be intimate and attracted to their man. The man needs to create an environment conducive to these female needs. Then she can bring him peace and affection in return. It works in my experience. It took me a long time to figure it out.

The poblem is that women never learn what men need want and appreciate. Whenever something goes wrong in the relationship, regardless if it's his fault or not, she will still blame him even she fucks up. She will continuously do things that damages the man, and when the man finally loses his s*** kicks her out, calls her a mean name, or gets angry and yells, the woman just gets to blame him. Women do not understand that what men need is respect. They keep trying to give you love when what men want is not. Love. Men want respect. Men are not women. We don't give a damn about love. There are no videos on the internet explaining how women should treat men. There are thousands of videos on the internet of how men should treat women. This is simply terrible. Women expect everything, and give almost nothing. If you ever ask a woman what she provides for the relationship or what she brings to the table, she has no answer.

Narcissists function and can be very high achievers all the way down to homeless alcohlics or pedophiles. Plenty of people work full time, have children, send them to school, pay most/all their bills, and are f'ed up beyond all reason

I always tell him don’t coke in the house until you’re off the phone. Well he still comes in and I totally ignore him when he does this. 21 years of this. Ugh it’s great not feeling like he cares

Thanks for opening up. Dr. Stan Tatkin often talks about the importance of the couple being the #1 and everyone else is a third. This can be a difficult conversation, especially regarding family, the challenge is finding a way to share with your husband in a way that he is able to hear. We have an upcoming episode with Dr. Stan which will talk about this concept and how you might communicate it with your husband.

No...arguments happen when your husband innocently asks you a question and you answer him in a disrespectful manner. Stop making excuses for your bad behavior and treat your husband with the same respect that he shows you. She is completely responsible but wants to make excuses and not take responsibility for her actions.
