after torquing down the bolts to 54 ft lbs I can no longer turn the crankshaft. is this normal or did I mess something up?

Thank you! This will help tremendously when i rebuild my prelude engine next year! She is my daily driver with 237,000 miles on an all original drivetrain... Needles to say say she burns oil more than i burn the devil's lettuce... I owe you one!

I need to rebuild my engine and this series of videos is giving me the confidence to do it myself. I know it’ll be tough and time consuming but I want to learn and this seems like the perfect opportunity, which kinda gives a silver lining to the situation. I have more research to do first but this is an excellent start! Keep it up!

Great build. My brother and I rebuilt a B18, but he use a scale to weigh the pistons and rods and match them up for a perfect balance.

How much would you charge to do this same rebuild? Would love to rebuild my H22!

Your video is really good but I am confused about one thing. The manual states when installing the valve cover, to keep the mating surfaces, valve cover gasket and cylinder head clean and dry and to apply liquid gasket to the 8 recesses on the gasket. Instead you applied oil all around the gasket and covered it. I don't get this part.

What brand aftermarket pistons did you use? Trying to find some for my rebuild right now
