I’m in the uk. I’ve dated and married but it has always had issues, sometimes like treading on egg shells. A man can never open up and totally immerse himself in the whirlwind of the relationship. It is very hard to make the relationship go the distance. I wanted only one life partner. But now I have met a beautiful amazing Chinese woman. It is very very different. The culture difference is new and exciting , and we are the greatest of friends too. Over a year now and still I get more excited each time in spending our time together. This relationship just happened from nowhere. Totally unexpected, and I love it. Culture differences are not for everyone , I know, and understand that , and especially as she is a traditional Chinese woman , it has been a culture shock. Crazy but it works and I am running with it as I couldn’t imagine my life ever being this good without her.

You forgot to mention Chinese dating now, a lot of it is about asking “how much money do you make? What college did you graduate from and what major? How many houses and cars do you own? How much money do you have saved up in your bank account? Are you at least 6’5 or higher? Are you an attractive person physically?” And the list goes on. If you don’t meet those 1% requirement in term of wealth, you’re basically not successful

Hmmm... really hard to properly reply to this. People can tell when someone doesn't think they are good enough and if they sense your attitude to them and it could be off putting. Which would leave to them not fully commiting. If you feel someone is below you, best to be honest and not pursue.
