Is through ordinary that we réalise our true nature that is eternal consciousness/God/ call it whatever you want. It’s through our mortal and apparently finite condition that we réalise and remember that we are infinite and eternal multi-dimensional being having a humain finite expérience but we are the screen and not the movie that is payed through our lives… One thing is everything, everything is one thing.

Perfect is NOT measurable, therefore it's a theory, not a fact. I am perfect at being me...as is each and every single one of us. Anyone desires to challenge that, go right ahead.❤

My impression is that there was a time in society in the past when being vulnerable was normal. Then conditions and circumstances changed where being vulnerable was not normal because of the amount of hurt and pain that took place. Her ordinariness sticks out as extraordinary because she is reawakening within us a society what has been forgotten. Thank you, Brene.

I think trust is just feeling confident that people won't hurt you, and, unfortunately, we CAN'T trust people to not make fun or shame us for what we do or are. People are too willing to call attention to themselves through your shame. It sucks.

In this day and era humans are terrified of being ordinary. I don’t know how is it that we came to start pretending we’re perfect. A quote I heard recently from her: “They rather see me dying on my white horse than, see me fall down”. That’s the pressure of society and, it makes us these miserable beings struggling day by day to not be seen as weak people.

This was a very good conversation. One of the things I have found to be true is the raw fear of being vulnerable, the raw fear of authenticity, the raw fear of rejection....and how all of this hinders growth, progress, accountability and much more. I am learning the importance of vulnerability and it has been such an amazing transformation in my life. If you have anymore information to share, a support group I can connect with, please let me know. Thank you.❤

Okay these are all relatable and all but where in this does she teach us /inform us/educate us/ knowledge us with how to actually transmute the shame ? The attachment issues ? The abandonment issues? This feels like she just wants us to feel comfortable in the “less good” feelings rather than teaching us how to accept it for what it is & then transmute it...she fails to talk about why these emotions arise. She’s a puppet.

She’s a research scientist who is educating us on the data she has gathered RE: shame & vulnerability. She’s not a counselor to tell you what you need to do with it. She’s a brilliant speaker and she attracts people because she’s no BS.
