Why Hawaii Has So Many Military Bases
Переглядів 47 тис.2 роки тому
Hawaii has in total 11 military bases and also some small military camps. compared to other US states Hawaii has the most military presence. The reason for this is Hawaii's strategic location. Hawaii is in the middle of east Asia and North America, and having a base there means, if an attack happens, the US army will be able to stop the hostile force far from the mainland. LA metro still has 5 by the loose definition of this standard
Ask the people whom live here how much we are enjoying the tourism? What do you think?
That seems isolated and away from civilization and for being a rich comunity the taste in houses is pretty awful .. I like the video a lot, although the narration is contradictory, it says Jackson is the richest town in the US and then it says people are leaving because they can't afford to live there but nice video
Stansted didn't happen as suggested. It ended up a LAP#3 but not before a lot of political stuff with Cublington and Maplin Foulness in the Thames estuary and at least ten wasted years ..

LET'S TALK ABOUT JACKSON WAYOMING NO HOUSESING FOR REGULAR JOE'S
How many airports does LA have?
Why? To bring all indians, pakistanis ,bangladeshis to their new Ukhindustan!!!!
Low salaries, very high tax..add that to high cost of goods, and high flight prices.
nothing new or current here. We have fewer bases than years ago. Lots of closures.
Disney has 2 waterparks and Disney Springs.
Can you make a video on delhi airport you will get 1 million views
I grew up in Denver and was there when the airport was funded and built. One reason it is so far out of town is that the city could not effectively build on the Rocky Mountain Arsenal near the old Stapleton airport (by proximity alone would have been a logical site choice) . The Arsenal retains remnants of nerve gas and related toxic materials that would have been problematic to use earth moving equipment. Another point of clairfication is that the Denver/Boulder metro populaiton is well over 3 million and the Front Range Urban Corridor (which the airport serves) is 5+ million and growing. The airport was desined to serve a metro populaiotn of 8+ million. It is nice to see a city that plans ahead. Finally, another design element of the white tented roof is that it is an homage to the Native American teepees of the plains. It is a great architectural element as it represnets both the mountains and the plains. Frederico Pena was the Mayor back then, and his leadership was instrumental in building the airport. I no longer live in the area, but I always look forward to seeing the airport when I come back. It is visually striking to see from the air when you circle the airport before final approach. Keep up the good work DEN!
as they saw the billionaires pushed out the millionaires. They are now moving out to Driggs and south of Jackson. Most of the rich dont even live in Jackson they just have another home there
CRJ aren't manufactured by Mitsubishi. It's Bombardie from Canada
you should also make a video on Tokyo - Sapporo. It's surprising considering how sparsely populated the island of Hokkaido is
Midway has 5 runways
Route is pronounced root.
Disney world isn’t in Orlando
Yes it is
Same thing for chief left hands curse. Locations like this are so beautiful when people go there they won’t want to leave, and there staying will be the undoing of its beauty.
But Disney is not in Orlando. The Walt Disney World Resort is an entertainment resort complex located about 20 miles southwest of Orlando,
True but that’s how most cities work. They usually get grouped into the nearest big city.. called the metropolitan area
Again, still not Orlando. He should be saying Central Fl.
@ if you go to the Walt Disney World website it says this: “Welcome to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. Enjoy exciting theme parks, resorts, dining and more. Plan your magical family vacation now!” Why should he have to clarify exactly where they are if even Disney themselves says Orlando lol
@KaiDub24 still not part of orlando. It is in Kissimmee. Not my fault if Disney gives false information. In permiting, Reedy Creek has to abide by Orlando's permiting rules just it's not part of Orlando.
@ and Kissimmee is still part of what is geographically known as “Greater Orlando” which includes Orlando, Kissimmee and Sanford. I get what ur saying but it’s rlly not that deep. Again, Orlando in this context only means the metropolitan area, not the city itself.
the question should be why is our military Budget a trillion dollars.
And Universal has enough land to build 2 more parks.
Great video! I loved the Orlando theme parks so much that I decided to move here last year. its wild just how much the population swings around the holidays though.
They trying to be like LA😒
How so?
Not at all . The hell we aren’t lol
Not even close.
Orlando beats LA in terms of theme parks.
Orlando also gets a decent boost as it has the closest airport to Port Canaveral. Cruising is responsible for a large number of passenger movements at Orlando International Airport (MCO) and hotel stays in the immediate Orlando area. Port Canaveral even briefly eclipsed Miami in terms of cruise passenger volume, although Miami has since taken back the lead as the world's busiest cruise port.
Technically, Universal's Epic Universe will be the third theme park at Universal Orlando Resort. Universal's Volcano Bay is a waterpark. If it was a theme park, then Disney's Typhoons Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach would also be considered theme parks as well. As a result, Walt Disney World would have six theme parks instead of four.
Water parks with theming, are theme parks. (Including TL, BB, Aquatica, and VB)
@elevenb6967 So riddle me this. Why doesn't Walt Disney World refer to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon as theme parks? Also, why doesn't SeaWorld refer to either of their Aquatica locations as theme parks? Then again, why doesn't Europa Park consider their Rulantica waterpark to be a theme park?
@ Why do people call SUV's cars? Why do people call SUV's trucks? Why do people call all facial tissues Kleenex? Why do people call all hot tubs Jacuzzis? Why do people call all fragrances colognes/perfumes? Now, ask yourself, "what is a theme park?" If you Google it, it literally comes up with "an amusement park with a unifying idea" (THEME). Aquatica - Southern Pacific Blizzard Beach - A ski resort, whose snow, and ice suddenly melts Typhoon Lagoon - A typhoon suddenly hits a tropical, pristine area Volcano Bay - Mystical South Pacific volcano They're all theme parks with mostly water rides, and attractions.
@elevenb6967 They're waterparks that have themes to them. But the classification of theme parks is an amusement park with deep theming to it. It does not pertain to waterparks. Universal is the only one who refers to their waterpark as a theme park, but that's wrong. It's like how Six Flags refers to Larson Super Loops as roller coasters even though they're not.
@ I literally just gave you the actual definition of a theme park, and you countered with: "But the classification of theme parks is an amusement park with deep theming to it." Those parks are literally the definition of theme parks, because they're all heavily themed, with a story behind each. Universal calls their parks with water rides theme parks, and you're saying that they're wrong? By whose authority.....Yours? Man, stop it. Also, I've never heard Six Flags refer to LSL as a roller coaster. But that's not even relevant. We're talking about theme parks here. And again, by its very definition, Aquatica, TL, BB, and VB are indeed THEME parks. The only difference is that their rides are mostly water based. -_-
We have the best theme parks in the country minus Cedar Point. New York can’t compete jk
Well their six flags had the largest coaster in the world then they got rid of it ☹️
@ why did they rid of it smh
@@phillinsogood cedar point did the same thing with their thing but there rumors going around something good is gonna replace it idk the only ride closure that pissed me off more was dragon challenge in Universal
7:26 disney WORLD not land
0:51 you mentioned Disney has 4 theme parks. They do, excluding the water parks, which would make it 6. But then you said Universal has 3, with a 4th on the way (that being Epic Universe). You grouped Universal's water park into it's collection, but why not Disney's two water parks? You then went on to mention that Seaworld has two, and included its own water park in that number. Why are Disney's Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon being excluded here
Universal considers Volcano Bay a Water Theme Park. The reason being it’s massive compared to Disney’s water parks.
0:25 that's disneyland paris footage
12 different ways to say the same fucking thing
MCO 😕
ORD is Chicago, not Orlando.
I guess, people heads go straight to Chicago and not Orlando from ORD
@ that’s correct. It’s the IATA code for Chicago o hare
@@BroadvayOrlando’s IATA code is MCO
I heard the population increased in Jackson after the Pacific Palisades fires.
Why does California have so many military bases, the answer is very simple (doesn't take a Rhodes Scholar to figure it out) that is because of its strategic location.
California is thinking Independence because the GOP and red states hate us and we are treated with disrespect.
PLACED STRATEGICALLY SET UP AND I KNOW WE'RE DON'T NEED A MILITARY INVASION BUT, MULTITUDES OF A REGULAR BASIC NEIGHBORHOODS TO BACK UP OUR MILITARY GOE ...
Is Jackson and Jackson Hole same same ?
yeah Jackson is the town of Jackson, located in Teton County, Wyoming. Jackson Hole refers to the entire valley in which the town of Jackson is located. Jackson Hole consists not only of Jackson but other communities, such as Teton Village, Wilson, and Moran etc.
@ okay, thank you.
@@Robert-eg2oy no problem.
Jackson Hole is a beautiful place and home to the Chicago Fed meeting. Rich people always go to the nice places. Over time they price out locals and take over the area. Gotta love the race to become a second home town.
Actually, the REAL reason why DEN is so big is because there are cloning centers underneath the airport along with secrets hiding spaces for the elites and top officials. A lot of space is needed for the amount of masonic/illuminati activities that go on underground.
I had no idea that so much of Wyoming land is government owned. It’s really shocking that so little of it is available for building homes.
Again with these rich people
When you include state and local- sales tax in Wyoming pushes 6% and their poperty tax rate of 0.55% means a $2 million home’s property taxes taxes would be $11,000 per year plus local trash sewer water school etc add up to about $16k year
that could have been a quick google search
Small towns like this often have a fascinating story behind their wealth, but there's always a 'dark side' to consider. What challenges or inequalities might be hidden behind the prosperity? Wyoming's beauty and solitude make it unique, but every place has its complexities
Wealthy and boring.
