Do you like his videos my favorite character is Superman we should all Inspire to be him or like him
Can u make a tutorial for newbies to modify toys
Great video! Hush Superman is the best Superman I have, none of the McFarlane Superman figures I have can compete. What is your issue with it? I don't think it is the perfect Superman but none of the McFarlane Superman figures are that impressive and I'm not looking into getting pre-McFarlane era figures at this point in time.
My favorite Superman stories are All Star by Grant Morrison, For the Man Who Has Everything by Alan Moore, Whatever happened to the Man of Tomorrow again by Alan Moore or the Saiyan Saga/Namek or Frieza Sagas in Dragon Ball by the late Akira Toriyama. Have you ever noticed how similar Superman Batman Supetgirl is to He-Man and She-Ra in the Secret of the Sword?
what's with Supermans tiny face? Is he played by Bella Ramsay?
I WISH I had a For All Seasons action figure.
7:34 I would actually like a video on those 2, i think they look really good
@@PlasticPendenjo Thanks! I think I might make a video on my simplier Superman customs (those included)
@ I love all your Superman customs, and I do wish McFarlane finally did make the Knightfall Batman equivalent to Superman But for now, yours is the closest to that
Freakin' Awesome Sauce! :D Instant Subscribe! :D
DC is pretty garbage honestly
@@Dredd_bot_1 L ragebait
@ukesfigures it's not rage bait
Dang I judged it to fast , the cartoon comic drawn look is awesome
Looks like Lou ferigno s poop
o man so awesome
I love how accurate this looks, perfection
Ed Mcguinness' art is one of my all time favorites
Super baby
I read for all seasons a few weeks ago because I watched some Superman stuff that I thought was cool, and it isn't actually the first sipeeman comic I read that's absolute Superman it looked cool but it also isn't the first comic I read I think that was invincible first issue because it was free on Google play but I I started actually reeding comics a few months ago because I was reading the questions comic from the 80s I stoped at like.issu 11 I forget I think I migjtve read some other stuff around then idk
I read secret orgin after that idk what to read now
Just found your channel! So good, keep the vids coming
came for the fig, stayed for the comic talk. i always love hearing ppl gush about their favorite comics, and dc in general is just so special to me.
@@fran-osuke I appreciate it! I was worried that I talked too much about the comic and not enough about the figute but I'm glad you liked it!
I would love to see a custom Long Halloween tim sale Batman figure! This is awesome!
Thanks! While I haven't bought anything to make the figures quite yet, I have been planning both a Long Hallowen Tim Sale Batman (Mcfarlane size) and a Daredevil Yellow Tim Sale Daredevil (Marvel Legends size). What can I say, I guess I just love making Tim Sale's art into figures
My favourite representation of Superman! Your job is absolutely perfect. I'm in awe. Absolutely blown away by how good you did it. Incredible!
Great video! New subscriber here. I wish you’d have gone into the printing process. Looks great.
He looks like a baby
Holy shit superman for all seasons is a fav comic of all time too
This figure looks so good I was convinced you built this from a Mafex!
@@SteelJacket86 Haha I appreciate it! In some ways I like to call McFarlane the "poor man's mafex"
I agree that All-Star isn't the be all end all Superman book, but I'd be curious to know why you're of the opinion that the girl jumping off the roof in All-Star is "out of touch"?
This is an incredibly subjective take but in my opinion: 1) I think that it has lost it's meaning online be because of how much people have overshared this page. Most people instead of looking at the overall scope of why it is meaningful just kind of look at it as "Superman is so amazing that he can even talk someone out of jumping" (tho that's not a fault of the story itself) 2) Though the point of the moment is that "Superman would stop to help anyone" I feel that from a writing perspective it is a little bit weird to me for them to throw it in their abruptly but again that might be looking at it retroactively from an internet perspective 3) Honestly one of my bigger issues (and this is kind of petty ngl) is that they depicted the girl as a very stereotypical mid 2000s "emo/alt/edgy" person, it just feels a little bit on the nose in a semi poor tasting way, but that's just me
@@ukesfigures Thanks for elaborating.
Great work! I don’t know too much about Superman but I saw this in my recommended and instantly clicked. It’s really well done and I love the ink shading. My only suggestion would not be for the figure but for recording as I highly recommend using a Pop filter in front of your mic to prevent “popping you P’s” in the voiceover (you’ll notice your audio levels go up, or “pop” when you say a word with P, a pop filter prevents this). But again excellent work!! Subscribed!!
Wow
Maybe you can try to make a custom batman long Halloween in a McFarlane style
I actually have been planning one for awhile!
Beautiful job. Now do a classic CC Beck captain marvel 😂❤
This
Mind explaining how that page in all star is out of touch?
@@Sherdderworld Personally I feel that it's simplifies the internal mental struggle that someone is going through to just "Superman is inspirational and therefore stopped someone from doing something" I think it's less directly out of touch and more over simplified a bit
@@ukesfigures As someone who personally has had suicidal thoughts and has helped prevented friends making that final choice I feel that is an extremely narrow read of what happened. The internal dialogue you have in that moment feels like an unbearable weight and that the only way you can lift it by letting it go by ending it. Sometimes what you need in that moment to stop those thoughts is a reminder. That there actually are people who would care you were gone. She didn’t kill herself in that page because Superman said some line that made her rethink her life. She didn’t jump because in that moment when you need someone to help you, when you think no one could possibly help. Someone did. The idea that it was simply his words that saved her in the moment is the simplification. She didn’t jump because in that moment when she was at her lowest someone was there to lift her. To show her she wasnt alone.
@@Sherdderworld I definitely agree with your take and think that is the general idea of what is supposed to be portrayed, I just think that the page has been reposted and in online discussion so much that people generally lose the meaning of the actual moment. I just think in the scope of things that it was a relatively un-necessary moment to just kind of be a simple display of why Superman is good (which I know is the entire point of All Star Superman but it cam kind of feels like cheap and easy bait). Also on a kind of unrelated note I feel like it is a bit out of touch to have the teenager be dressed like a stereotypical 2000s "emo/alternative" person, maybe it's just me but it feels like low hanging fruit to have that be the depiction of someone going through a mental health crisis. Maybe it is just me looking at it from a 2020s lense but it feels just like a little weird and stereotypical (even if not intended) but I might be looking too into it
Do the spreads lay flat (sewn) or are they perfect bound?
McFarlane. Are the best. DC figures. Ever made for retail. No doubt.
He may not have the extreme muscular tone most other depictions of Supes, but he's still built like a shit brick house here.
I have to agree with you. I love Superman For All Seasons so much. That full page image of him within the flames with Lois saying “this was a job for Superman” gave me goosebumps on my first read through.
If you got any loose materials or paint, use them to make a Bizarro
Heads are now on sale! Link: instagram.com/p/DE46MEaRxGZ/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
@@ukesfigures not a huge fan of the Tim look. But you did such a fanfuckingtastic job with that one, I brought up CC Beck. Because it's a look that no company has ever captured right. I did the same thing for my own captain marvel custom. Took a head off a Shazam from that Ed McGuiness figure. But think it looks too much like Bruce Wayne.🦇💪👍
Custom headsculpts are now on sale: instagram.com/p/DE46UXXROKr/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
I do customs on Instagram too
funny part is that Sale mades Supes look like the og CC Beck Capt Marvel. squinty eyes and all.
My alternate thought when making this head was also using a Captain Marvel figure, though I couldn't find one the correct size
@@ukesfigures you did a great job.
Amazing
Looks good. I like it more. How it looks with a. I alternated head. But I get. The look you were going for I am doing that because y love how it looks. I just not going to modify the head. Thank you. For the idea 😊 weird that in. A store still l selling such old figures and for 15 bucks?? They are no cheaper than 30 now days
Well done, you knocked it out of the park!
Would love more videos!
Great job sir and I was trying to follow you on instagram buts it’s showing up invisible
Thanks for watching! Also thanks for pointing out the problem with my link, it should be fixed now!
@@ukesfigures got it and one question, how much does each head cost?
@@JBTMR They should be $38 plus $5 shipping
@ alright, thank you
I recommend you to use a fabric cloth cape, it Will make the figure look more imposing
Yeah, pretty easy to sew too
Superman isn't supposed to be imposing
@@ClassicHeroYT i'm talking about how imposing the figure will look in comparision to others, a Nice flowing cloth cape really makes the difference
Hey you made a youtube channel! I'm not *too* much of a fan of Tim Sale's style, although I can't argue with that it's very striking. What you did is incredibly impressive though, it's instantly recognizable and the paintwork is fantastic. The subtle highlights on his face really sells it all! From what I saw in the pages you skimmed through, the comic looks pretty beautiful though. I might check it out! I don't really have a favourite Superman story aside from the Michael Turner Supergirl one, Kingdom Come, and Superman: Peace on Earth but I've been meaning to read more! I'm gonna share this channel around if you don't mind, brother. Love the quality of everything!
@@VADtoys I appreciate it! Yeah Sale's art isn't for everyone but it really struck a chord with me
Superman looks like he eat a sour lemon? And shrunk his face that small
Good job bro! Keep up this type of content and I'll be a happy subscriber. Good luck!
