I've played a lot of Sonic games as a kid but Sonic Riders was the main one that made me cry out of frustration. Sonic Unleashed had some frustrating stages but once you master them, it becomes one of the most satisfying things. Shamar mission to save the missing sister is the one I remember the most. After so many trys, finally beating it then playing the regular and DLC stages of Day Shamar act 1 with my new knowledge and expertise felt PEAK.

THE FIRST LVL WAS BEAUTIFUL WTH. Man Sonic really got no substance anymore that land scape was unlike any I’ve seen in any other sonic game.

1:34. I love this part so much. Sonic sends an Egg Fighter flying off a jump panel, then TRICKS out of the explosion to avoid being clotheslined by a massive ice pillar. The slow motion, the 10-ring chime, the checkpoint going off... Everything about that brief moment is just electric. Over 15 years later and Sonic Unleashed's day stages are still the best 3D Sonic gameplay we've ever gotten. 👌 Hope you got back safe from your trip btw

Although I haven’t played unleashed in a while I remember this being my favorite side mission I can’t recall if I found it difficult at all.

I never get the grinds on the beginning of the stage because I suck at it, the roller coaster part was like a total of luck or death, the balance of the pipes is like pressure to your heart, hoping the quick times event buttons are easy to just mash it though to get it over it quickly and that nervous shaking shortcut, I will never get that hot dog for a perfect run, that’s like your trying to get an S Rank from all of those hazards many times for just a 70 EXP power up😔🤕

Ngl i would like to see you try to speedrun sonic x shadow generations, i heard you can change the buttons back to gens style so it can be more similar to what ur used to (they should make and option for unleashed buttons tho)

You're not alone. I had to retry this level so many times to get the perfect run of it. Which I managed to do so and get an S rank at the end of it. The key to this level is not get hit and if you do, you retry it all over again. Good job.

Bro i really love these dlc stages, that one was great, the other joyride act 1 remix i got the S rank first try, also i did more practice and i got new records on some levels, i might some day show the records tho !
