    5. It feels impossible to make peace with the past recalling all I put up with and taking it out on those I love, especially because the past is the reason my life looks as it does 6. Why is it so fucking impossible to succeed in my life? The reality of my life is hell. Most often I'm just being buried alive, and trying desperately to escape

    • @clearvision2146
      @clearvision2146 29 днів тому

      I am not sure who your helper is? If you are involved with a narcissist then you are already one step ahead as you know what they are doing they will have shown you time and time again, The best thing to do overall is leave, if you can´t...then seek support such as a therapist and work an exit plan with them. Educate yourself as much as possible on the subject, this eradicates doubt and counters gas lighting etc ...without much more infor or context i am not sure what else to say

    Is it uncommon to do this not only for myself, but to insulate the other party as to not further corrupt that individual, as I did with my last ex? That was 3 years ago, and it seemed to have been the best option for the both of us. However before I even understood the no contact rule, I was just avoiding conflict at the time.

    • @clearvision2146
      @clearvision2146 Місяць тому

      Hola, I think I understand your question, and yes I have known people to break contact because the other cannot let go and its making them ill. And continuing polite contact keeps the attachment going ...I think this is what you are referring too? like being ruel to be kind in a way

    • @DerekClark-p9n
      @DerekClark-p9n Місяць тому

      @@clearvision2146 Indeed. This was 3 years ago. I've remained singled ever since. No contact with ANYBODY. However when I made the decision to let her go, I did it because I realized I would only be continuing manipulation for my own agendas, or to simply try to get some sort of revenge for the way I was feeling. Which I knew was only a selfish reason to justify holding a grudge and seek retribution. I was a scared "grown ass little boy" back then.

    I took care of my mother - hospital visits, showers, doctors, food, stayed there every week. I planned the funeral. I was shocked that I was disinherited and hurt deep in my soul. I felt like an outsider to everyone. Still do. My husband and kids see my pain but they don’t realize how deep it goes. I will never get over it. I don’t even know who I am. My siblings I’m sure persuaded mom. They took her to the lawyers while I was in the hospital. I’m currently suing them. It’s not about the money but it’s about not letting them beat me While I’m down. Even if I lose at least I tried. So I lost my mom, dad had passed a few years back. Then I see the disinheritance and I for some reason stopped mourning my mom. That made me feel worse. What is wrong with me. Then I lose my siblings- I will never talk to them again. I’m truly not okay. Everyone is sick of me complaining and crying about it all the time. I just want to talk to my mom and ask her. Why?

      I think I understand a bit more about why I can't forgive and I wanted to note it help me remember Narcissistic people with all the crap we go through creates a hatred for that person That hatred does keep us safe We make boundaries easier when we hate People keep telling me to forgive for myself well I don't know how That hatred kept me safer right But I'm an empathic person full of love even for people who I... Ya kinda hate so I can maybe find it for him and keeping my Bounderies Understanding is part of forgiveness but I don't want to understand why he did that stuff to me I always say never say never because it comes back to bite you In the butt Maybe being angry I don't have to understand I'm greatful i never had to feel the way he felt towards me I can understand being a narcissistic person your stuck you can't change and that's sad Maybe I can forgive him because he is like this Raised like this This is his survival strategy Forgive him because I know what it's like to have traits like this at times but I'm not stuck like that I have too much empathy at times
