Naga vs Drago should be 1

My top 5. 1. Masquarade and Dan vs Centorior and Druman 2. Delta Draganoid vs Dual Hydranoid 3.Ultimate Draganoid vs Alpha Hydranoid 4. Masquarade vs Alice in the doom dimension. 5. Shun and Skyress vs Heiredy on earth. To me Masquarade's lines in the battle against Centorior and Druman give me goosebumps. They were so cold! So evil. He was on a quest to give those vile creatures their just reward.

Personally, the final battle of Bakugan Battle Brawlers against Naga is my second favorite battle. It felt epic, the stakes are high, it was a battle of titans with two powerful energy sources, Drago beating Naga down for what he's done and seeing everyone help near the end was awesome. It was a satisfying battle for me. Dan vs Masquerade Round 3 at the colosseum is my favorite battle though, as it was intense at it was cool seeing two of the strongest Bakugan at the time duke it out in a one on one brawl. Seeing Masquerade slowly lose his cool and get infuriated was funny, and the reveal at the end blew my mind, but can be predicted if you pay attention to the foreshadowing, especially in a second rewatch. Fantastic battle

Crazy how Drago starts evolving in episode 16 and Dan states “there is no reason to hold back let’s show them a power level that’s never been seen before.” But Drago actually evolves the second time from this lesson more whereas Drago evolved the first time through his friends and their partners trusting him even though both times Drago needs to break past his own misconceptions. He believes he isn’t a good enough leader and because of his own ego and understanding he questions Dan’s motives. It’s not until Dan and Drago start the quest to fight Masquerade and restore Vestroia that they fight for the commonality of winning but for different reasons. That’s why losing to Masquerade is so important for Dan’s character. When he sees Drago being destroyed in front of him, Dan begins to break down, grasping how significant Drago has become to him and that Dan wasn’t ready. Between his ego, friends, and morals Dan never thought he could lose this fight. Not only does he go to the Doom Dimension with Drago, he quickly begins to understand he might actually never leave. This is the first time we truly see Dan take a back seat and listen to Drago. Drago becomes the Leader and Dan starts questioning himself, only to right back when facing Apollonier. It’s not until Dan battles his friends that he begins to mature. Drago is made to not only fight and win but fight because he must against his friends. Doing what is needed becomes Drago’s core lesson as Apollonier points out, and is shown in the following series.

I've always had an interesting thought: "What if Spectra reunited with the brawlers in Gundalian invaders" my thought around this would be that Spectra and Mira would be made aware of the Gundalian threat and that they may target Vestal and Spectra would see this as a great opportunity to find strong opponents. I just thought the idea would be interesting

I play Duel Links too, but very casual and need to learn more especially for Rush Duels. Excited to see what other fandoms you tackle, I do step out from Bakugan sometimes cause other shows and games catch my interests and making vids on topics that have your attention more probably feels more fulfilling cause creative juices are flowing more there at the moment.

In Mechtanium Surge, Skyress appears on several cards. Similarly, in the card Magmafury, a very different Bakugan from the one we saw in the anime is shown. Skyress's face is visible on the chest of "Jaakor," along with Skyress's wings and tail in that fusion. It's likely that Skytruss was intended to be an evolution of Skyress designed for Mechtanium Surge.

Yes, the truth is that Hawktor, Taylean, and Jaakor were unnecessary. In fact, looking at Hawktor's concept art, with the exact same pose and proportions, it’s simply a reskinned Ingram. I wouldn’t rule out the possibility that Hawktor was originally planned to be an evolution of Ingram, especially considering that the prototype name for Cosmic Ingram was Hawklea.

I really love hydranoid to this day, i have loved him since 2006 and when i was in highschool, my Physical Education wear was purple, so i always imagined that i was a darkos battler

The original series had the best ruleset by far. It was an actual strategy game the plot was built around. It was also easy to process. But I do have a soft spot for Gundalien Invaders, the plot was interesting, I really like the battle gear and the abilities they could cause, and though the rules were less strict the battles felt more intense.

When I watch BB ep 12 English sub Dan told Shun that time isn't frozen, it's slowed down and still going. I do like Taylean for MSA1 cause if the show was written better he would work for Shun's personal trial although I think he was also stubborn like Shun canonically so who knows it's been a while since watching. Also while I thought it was cool Shun could summon a Mechtogan Titan, now I'm not a big fan of it cause I'd whether it just be Dan and Mag Mel who could do that. For the question at the end, I kinda wished she did go with Shun, but I don't mind that she stayed on New Vestroia, honestly it depends on the story, but overall her coming back to Earth Skyress would see what changed after 3 years and see Shun growth.

Skyress leaving was sort of the conclusion to Shun's character arc, imo. It was symbolically speaking him finally letting go of the last part of his mother, and fully growing past that trauma. I still don't get how a character arc this good came from a mid-2000s kids show made to sell toys.

Probably because of a mech bias I learned I had later but I found mechtanium surge part 1 and new vestroia very enjoyable as a whole including their finale’s For the most part your memory is correct on how things went though the finale for new vestroia isn’t different days, Spectra left and started the battle whereas the brawlers had to figure out how to follow his trail while he was fighting arriving to fight though they did regroup before starting their assault on the alternative.

I will never forgive Maxsis Helios being defeated instantly by Farbros. I really wish it lasted longer

I love the Bakugan Battle Brawlers anime as a whole, and I can say that your list of final battles wasn’t a bad one. Though I definitely agree with the final fight with Naga being Number One.

While I like MS1 more than MS2, I have less complaints with the latter cause the former had so much missed potential and MS2 did the best with what it had and didn't drop much compared to MS1. TLDR if I did a full rant about MS1 I'll have no energy to complain about MS2. Also yes rip Zenthon, no offense to Dragonoid Destroyer. All the rankings I like, wouldn't change anything- S1 is great, all hands together to beat the villain with best ending to a show S4P1 is epic, but wished the others Mechtogan helped with the power up for Dan and Drago to win S3 is good, but it didn't need three rounds given the circumstances S4P2 *sighs* is alright, but it's the team size that gets me S2 we are fighting a knock off Death Star and I'm 50/50 on the digital fight even being necessary Side note: you called Razenoid, Ravenoid which is a raven like Bakugan, but looking at the spelling I can see how the mistake happened, but this is twice now so I have to speak up.

For Zenoheld, I straight did not enjoy any of his brawls in the show because of the assail formation making it straight up his only reason he never lost a brawl except for the final one. The final battle of New vestroia I will say should be higher since it was epic to see a culmination of everyone coming together for a common goal of defeating the greater evil Mechtanium surge was definitely a massive hit or miss. For me I found part 1 as a miss since I remembered I was bored enough to miss out on the final battle of part 1. Part 2 felt better than part 1 overall as it came up with a nice twist but it didn't have the bigger impact as I thought it would Gundalian invaders was ok in execution with its long story arc but it definitely had some parts that were contrived like Kazerina using that time travel ability which I recently rewatched and yeah that was dumb. OG battle brawlers final battle could never not be one of the best if not the best battle in the show. It was epic, people cried at the ending, and rewatching it, it brings out a lot of nostalgia and I can appreciate how the show had a lot more adult elements to it than I thought. For rankings, it would be 1 Battle Brawlers 2 New Vestroia 3 Mechtanium surge part 1 4 Gundalian invaders 5 Mechtanium surge part 2

I’d put season 3’s finale a bit higher at like number 2 cuz of the sense of finality and destiny that comes from dan and drago defeating what is effectively their dark counterparts

A big reason I like the NV final battle is everyone participates (besides the OG girls which I also think they should’ve had a part in it), and it’s cool to see everyone have a massive battle with a giant robot; and I enjoyed it more than the MS battle because of I felt more personally attached to the characters in that season.

I thought you would do Dan vs Spectra in New Vestroia part 1 as a final fight. If you did where would you put that.

If you saw the Japanese dub, the splash of romance from the final battle was hinted at during Runo's Trial against Lars Lion. Instead of saying her and Dan are best friends no matter what, it's more like she actually loved Dan no matter what. This is followed through during Dextra Attack, and it's subtly hinted in the English Dub (remembering as an adult) that they're actually going on a date at the very end of the season. If that was all the Bakugan we would ever get, the first Season ending would have been the best send off for the Bakugan franchise.

I like the first season's ruleset best, but the Gs difference would've made it more interesting for the Doom Dimension. Instead of a guaranteed thing it would need a difference in power that varied per Bakugan. Also one ability per battle is a bit boring.

From what I remember, the major reason why I was disappointed in that battle, obviously aside from the genius deus ex McSpider move, was that it wasn't even necessary to keep the plot going! It might as have ended with Shadow losing and getting his new cyber bakugan offscreen, and it would have affected the story at all. That's what I thought back then at least.

I agree with most of it, as I also dispiss DEEPLY this battle, for such reasons: Along with the Battle of Zenoheld vs Gus, for some dumb reason, Fourtress and Hydranoid G's arent combined. When Ace faced Mylene and Klaus helped him, Sirenoid's G went directly to combine with Percival. In the first round, Shadow activates the ability Freezer Trident TWICE; and as I said, he is taking damage of both Fourtress AND Hydranoid, yet it seems it didnt any damage to it. Chan Lee is only activating only one ability per round, why? (I know the fusion ability card, but that still one move) Face of Grief does not work as it should be in the first season, it used to cancel any ability from foes to being active. While not directly about the battle, Preyas is implied, in almost explict way, that he was the weakest ace of all unique Bakugan as he only had 300 G's in Battle Brawlers, yet he HUMILIATES in Mac Spider in that battle, specially since his evolution was multiplication. MAC Spider was the weakest mechanical Bakugan from second half of New Vestroia; as Aluze was considerably more deadly in the air, as we could see with the battle against Dryoid and the one against Tigrerra and Wilda, it also had a considerably good cards of defense (incluinding a defensive fusion ability) to cover his weakness. But MAC Spider doesnt really shines in any aspect. It wasnt much durable, it wasnt much quick like Macubass or Dryoid were, not much impressive fire power as Boriates or Aluze and didn't had a 'cheat' like Farbros.
